Anyone know who this might be?

I was thinking Mateo Kovacic, but he is 18, not 20. Though the ages are very close.

Kovacic really is a great talent for us to be keeping an eye on. Could be an excellent (eventual) replacement for Modric.

Yeah, its most likely him…..because we’ve been linked numerous times to him over the past year.

Kovacic would be a great purchase in a year or two as replacement for Modric. We might have to scoop him up sooner rather than later though.

Think Vrsaljko is 20yo. Kovacic is 17, and Badelj 23.

Think only Kovacic would be a good buy. Vrasaljko is just like walker with a lot less experience, and Badelj is out of form so much that it hurts to watch him play.

As for Vukusic and Ticinovic from Hajduk, think Vukusic might be a good shout, a young FC with great speed and great finishing. Ticinovic is a great little AMC, but for some reason think he would be trouble, since he could not make it in Hajduk for reasons other than his skills.

Croatia is a neat country, interesting shape and beautiful coast. As long as there are no more wars over ancient feudal territories then the country will continue to produce incredible players

Badelj is sold to HSV for 4M euro. Today again played very well as DCM/CM (I belive his last game for Dinamo). Last 3 games I watched him play he is different player. So confident and showing his full potential. It seams that problem he had with Mamic affected him past season. Defo worth 4M and some more. To bad we didn’t even try.

For the sake of our forum discussions I would rather not see any more croatians or russians. I need a break for a while.

You make it sound like Croatians didn’t have big contribution to recent progress of the club.

We’re talking about the forum not the club. And for the record I think your all right! ;)

But having people here who are bigger fans of a single player than they are of the entire club really does get tiresome.

For the sake of diversity, I’ll take a new country of new spurs supporters.

(and if any of you are croatian or russian and do not fall into the above player > team category, I’m genuinely thrilled to have you around.)

You guys are just lucky I was born in England otherwise I’d be off to support Villa this season now they will likely have two Australians in and around the first team…

Personally, I think ‘McLeish Syndrome’ should probably be listed as cause of death for a number of football supporters residing in the Midlands over the last several years.

Could it be that he bought Corluka and Kranjcar so that Luka wouldn’t be ”lonely”? Since Luka is leaving he doesn’t need them for that anymore. I don’t think Levy cares what country is player from as long as he performs.

I hope that this post was made in jest. If not, my reaction is ….. that’s a bit rude!

For the sake of our forum discussions, I’d personally rather see fewer people on here who call our beautiful game ‘soccer’ and who join up saying things like: "I wanna pick a team to support, but I’m not sure who. So, what can you guys tell me about the ‘Spurs?". Reading stuff like makes my blood boil, but I accept that this is a forum open to ALL, however tenuous their link to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club may be and therefore, I put up and shut up!

    Maybe you should too!

Hey I’m as big a Hotspurs fan as any of you. Go Hotspurs. Favorite soccer team out there. Also what do you think about the new uniforms? I think they go well with the cleats the players wear.

Don’t be so mad that we didn’t make the play offs. There’s always next season, and hey, we got a good draft pick didn’t we?
