      but (as usual) some words don’t seem to translate. ‘Zamrlu’ is another one, which I can’t make sense of.

      I have to compliment you on your English – so much better than most of the English posters on the forum! It comes as no surprise that you’re planning to teach it.

      I’ve never been to the Far East, but love visiting mainland Europe. I spent a fabulous holiday in Croatia, three years ago (in Trogir) and really want to do some more travelling around there and the former Yugo countries. Haven’t even seen Zagreb yet – the birthplace of my beloved Niko!!
