Sorry, got into my studies again :( usually you hear interviews with bands and they explain how one or another member joined the band - phone call: "you're a drummer? yes? good. would you like to join our band?" On Tuesday I also got a phone call: "You're a debater, third speaker, right? Got a team? No? Good. Would you like to join our team?" And this is it, on Saturday and Sunday I'll be competing in the Estonian championships, we've been prepping for that the whole week - from the end of the schoolday until all the libraries or cafes are closed. And I haven't had a single debate for a bit more than a year... I'M SO FREAKIN' SCARED!!!
Anyway, your film school/screenplay idea seemed quite nice. What kind of films would you be shooting? I got a classmate who is also into shooting films, he has shown me the interesting side of making films, he's really good at it :D

My studies are going very well, I have realised 75% of all the possible grades, which means that my average is approximately 10% higher than the average!
You are right about the grandmother-magic. Mine is a true magician, I'm sure - week before Christmas she had a stroke and was paralysed as a result. Now she's already walking by herself, I have no idea what kind of extraterrestrial powers got her back on feet so quickly but I'm thankful for that!
Being your own boss is a good idea! What kind of business are you planning? Oh, and I'm sure you're enjoying Tottenham's football now. It's heartbreakingly beautiful to see Tottenham capable of getting a top 3 position!

Heyyyyy Javiiiii! I've been recently busy with schoolwork, loads of stuff to be done. Now I'm taking time out a bit and then diving back into the work. And of course, we're freezing here. We've been having a -20 to -30 weather for over a week now, really cold. And although I like it, the bad thing about it is that I don't even have a proper equipment for such a weather - I don't have a hat and I'm basically wearing sneakers... I'm relying on my granny's knitted socks! But all in all, I'm good! How are you? What have you been up to recently?

haha well first part of the studies went well as i was able to re-cert the entry cisco exam. Now i should really start on getting others and higher level as well. However laziness really is great and getting back on this forum posting like before is such a great idea. =) Especially since Spurs are having a great start to the season.

Lolll I'm sure crazy shit would go down with javi in the house!!

Anyways, I'm off to bed now - fooking tired after waking up at 1am last night (this morning) for the Spurs game...me and broken sleep don't go well! See ya around mate.

I'm sorry to hear that mate! Any chance of that move to England coming off? Is there anything 'in the works'? Remember you talking about it a while back...Hope it does go through for you man, as you know there'd be LOADS of guys on here that would happily buy you a drink - me included! (when I move back to the UK in two years)

Work load is pretty high at the moment, but on the whole 'life' is top notch at the moment. I'm so lucky out here in Singapore, it's such a great place. Trying not to take anything for granted and enjoy it while i'm here. I wouldn't be surprised if I moved back out here when I'm in my 30's, it's so good to raise a family - it's ridiculously safe...kids pretty much have as much freedom as they want and I love that about here. You just don't have that privilege in the UK, or most other places for that matter.

For some reason, last year, much less people tended to quit games. Don't know what it was. I think now if someone quits on you after the 15th minute you get a 3-0 victory.

Sounds pretty cool. Think I'll watch loads of videos of it when it's actually out and read reviews etc then make my decision :)

Well tomorrow night I've got a little party to go to....not a big thing really, just some mates. Probably just chill and watch the football with a few beers tbh. Hopefully will get to see a Van Persie hat trick (he's in my fantasy team) in a heartbreaking 4-3 loss to Blackburn for Arsenal. Maybe that's wishful thinking though lol.

Hows life in Texas going for you these days? Up to much?

      ...

Well at first I didn't really like it, but it's growing on me now I'm getting used to the defending. I do find playing against the AI boring though. I've really gone off single player in general in the last year or so in every game. Just have no motivation to play the campaigns etc anymore. Probably because I have less time on my hands. So ATM i'm not LOVING it but I think when the actual game comes out and I can play online I'll love it as much as I loved Fifa 11 :)

ps. 1 more post to go................you can do it!!

I suppose it is overrated......well, partying is. Drinking beer - I'm not so sure :001_005:

There are SO many!! Omg. Fifa, PES, Battlefield, MW3, Assassins Creed, Saints Row, the list goes on! Never played Skyrim myself actually, have heard you talking about it quite a lot though. What's it like? Might have to get my hands on that IF I can afford it.

;) lol. He is a great player technically of course. Don't really agree with bringing up the drinking argument etc because that was in the past - but he looks like a different player when he plays for Spurs compared to Mexico. Don't know what it is. Maybe he just doesn't like Redknapp? Idk.

Not too bad mate!! Feeling a bit sorry for myself at the moment actually...sitting in my house on my own eating macaroni cheese, playing the fifa 12 demo and spending way too much time on this forum when I should really be out drinking and partying! Yourself?

I made a mistake in one of my answers , the chap I wanted to quote was NOT the first governer of Hong Kong , It was Sir John Cowperthwaite who was the Financial secretary to Hong Kong 1961-71

Yeah, robbing the bank is a good idea... As long as you won't get caught.
Myself I hope to win the lottery. Jackpot is 7,5 million euros, woooosh. I was thinking that if I do well in the prediction game game then perhaps I do well in the lottery as well. We'll see ;)
Anyway, thank you for the birthday message!

Hey! I've been really-really-really-really busy with school, killer times there. 50 billion assignments, tests, achievement papers etc... I barely had time for social life, not to mention the forum. But now I'm having a little week-long holiday, yay, going to celebrate my birthday tomorrow :P anyway, how have you been? Has anything interesting happened here?

Yeah, Pinball Wizard is in the film. PS: Elton John plays him. And 'the Acid Queen' role is played by Tina Turner. So Tommy has quite famous names in it.

Woops, sorry. I just noticed that you had written the reply on your page :P. As for the Wall then you should watch The Who's "Tommy". It's about a young boy whose father died in the WWII (some kind of pilot he was). And then the son becomes weird and freaky (blind, deaf and dumb) and then creates his own cult that fails at the end. Similar, no?
