just wondering what you guys think of adel; doesn't seem to be mentioned in terms of ramos getting rid of the 'deadwood' this summer, and we all know that he can be a bit of a super-sub at times. do you see him possibly playing a role this season?

i really hope so. this kid has energy!
but then possibly a season out on loan and playing some regular football could be best for him.

has anyone seem him in the practise games?
    how has he looked?

I would love him to get more of a look in from the bench next season, He can be a good impact player. All He needs to do is pass a bit more and he would be a really good player. Very exciting on the ball

This is the type of lad that needs blooding into the first team through the Carling Cup.

His trickery is emmense and as soon as he gets on his game and starts adding some end product I think he will be a big big name

Him, Peckhart, Gunther, Smith and the likes all need to be blooded and proved so they can be either introduced or moved on.

i hope he can play a role this season, he has bags of tricks and is full of confidence, just needs a couple of games under his belt...should of gone on load to west brom though to gain some valuable premier league experience!!

agree, apart from gunter, but thats for another thread!

adele is a great talent with heaps of potential and i would love to see him start a game this season. hopefully with 7 subs this season we will see some of the fringe players get some appearances

we could be starting some of our younger players in the carling cup games. but would we have won the comp if that was the case last season? probably not. i think the boys would probably need loan spells at other clubs

If I recall correctly, Dos Santos and Taraabt are the same age. The gulf in quality between the two is huge. Dos Santos is already the finished product. That said, Taraabt's potential is great and he needs to be loaned out to get some experience.

Dos Santos is far from the finished product, is anyone at 19? As for Taarabt I can't see him ever making at the Lane, am yet to see him do anything that impresses me.

I would love to see this kid get more of a run
I know he is selfish but his footlskills are amazing
and with his flair he could create that extra spark that we need

Good Evening, Taarabt should be sent out on loan, there is
no way on past performances he can be trusted in the first
team. If he was to shine elsewhere, I'd be happy to see him
back. I know a lot think he is a great player, for me he is not
a team player, and has so much to learn...

Tottenham Hotspur - Harry: Adel is a genius!

Harry Redknapp might give Taarabt a go in the next couple of weeks, We no about the boys talent and I really hope He gets a go. The F.A Cup game against Wigan on friday would be an ideal time to unleash him on the left wing I think, I would drop the out of form Bentley and see what the Lad can do.

    Here's some of Harrys quotes:

"If we can get him playing he is a genius,' Redknapp said. 'He's an amazing talent, I've not seen too many with that type of skill in my life. It's frightening.

'It's a case of trying to find a position for him and getting him fit enough to play. Getting him to do a bit when he hasn't got the ball - but he's only a kid.

'This is a real talent. A match-winner. So I'm sure we're going to see a bit of him in the next couple of weeks."

Adel Taraabt is quick , but he is a liability , a bit like ronaldino . Very nice going forward but nobody can read his moves so he ends up losing the ball. The Team push forward after a few of his runs but he runs into trouble rather than give and go football , so the other team are always a danger on the counter attack . I'm not putting negatives out here - he may have progressed a lot since i last saw him . But let me tell you , you will love what you see , he is similar to ronaldo and i'm not joking.

Its good to hear he will get some action soon, I know people say he is selfish but if you are only brought on with 5 minutes to go and have been on the bench for a year its hardly surprising you want to make a point and better than coming on and sulking.

    hopefully soon.

i really want to see some kids. i know that we're not really in a position to play them; but we really need to start getting some of them out on the park.

hope this lad plays against burnley, could end up being that attacking flair we're missing atm and its worth taking the risk to find out.

I thought He did well tonight on a very poor surface, He can dribble around anyone and I love the way He wants to attack people and isn't scared to do it. I hope Harry gives Him more of a run in the team maybe on the left wing.

Think the only one that's done what it says on the package is Woody. For a attacking player, you're going to have to go a little further back.

Get him out on loan Arry or give him a go in the FA cup.

Oh hold on we aint got any more games in that as we just spunked it!!! Now no chance to blood any youngsters unless its in the league!!!

yeah he wasn't good yesterday was he! But it was only one game so i'm still holding out some hope he could become a good player, bags of potenial but his decision making isnt the best.

I got the impression that he was told to pass more as I have never seen him pass so much in one game. He should play his own game and learn the lessons on the pitch imo.

The match was against the current champions league and premiership and world club champions so it was a hard test for him even if they had a few out, the replacements aint bad.

Give him more time, I think everyone is been given loads of time until the end of the season to prove themselves. I like this kid and I don't want to lose anymore future prospects.

Good Afternoon, Taarabt, if we keep him should go out on loan.
He is no use for a relegation battle, Burnley and yesterday, all
show and no go, a liability at the moment...
