Didnt Harry confirm this before the game today.
shit we have no chance since bale is out and we are one man team that cannot win without bale.......
After Kranjcars performance today, the loss of Bale is not as bad as it was this time last week, haha!
We can get a positive result ( a 2-1 loss would do tbh) without Bale, but pace against AC milan is very dangerous. They come accross technical players liek Kranjear week in week out
pace would be the best against them at their ground where they will try to attack us and fast wingers are really important for our counters.
Pfft. f**k 2-1 loss. We are Tottenham.
Need I explain any further?
We could still go for a win and actually get a score draw. Bale will be available for the second leg and White Hart lane will be heaving!!!
Do i need ot explain that its a 2 legged tie and AC Milan are romping home with Seria A and a 2-1 one defeat meaning a 1-0 will put at through at the land is apretty good result.
Redknapp: "Bale is doubtful for the Milan game" - Kranjcar: "It would be a dream to play in Milan".
Two different emotions in those statements.
San Siro return still on for Tottenham's Gareth Bale | Mail Online
Can just imagine it..... we are losing 3-1 at the San Siro....feeling a little deflated.....on comes Bale in the 75th minute off the subs bench.....scores a hat-trick by the 95th minute and we come home 4-3 up
Bale adds a lot against a slower side like Milan, so losing him is a substantial loss, however other Spurs players have decent speed still. Any away goals by Spurs would be a positive result for them (IMO), I'm dreading the return leg at WHL.
Not sure this is such a huge blow, having not played for three weeks he wouldn't be at his best, risking him even with a slight back injury could have severe repercussions for our run-in.
Niko is on fire so why not play him, it's pretty certain 'Arry will play 4-5-1 the back four as Saturday with Lennon, Sandro, JJ, VdV and Niko in the middle (Luca won't be fit to start) Crouchy up front .... that midfield five is still very attacking however all five understand the importance of defense. The pace comes from Lennon but JJ, VdV and Niko can all burst forward.
On the other hand this could be all "mind-games" and we will see a fit Bale tearing AC a new one ..........
Bale out ... ?
I bet he isn't !
Mind you its ESPN, but they say he may play after all.
Harry Redknapp: Gareth Bale could be fit to face AC Milan - ESPN Soccernet
"Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is hopeful Gareth Bale will be fit to feature in Tuesday's Champions League game at AC Milan but is less confident over Rafael van der Vaart and Luka Modric."
Its like CIA stuff now isnt it.
I reckon he will start against Milan. I just hope he doesn't end up with another setback.
Kranjcar left and lennon right, nuff said.
i really hope he is fit and think he will be playing but if not then we can still take them away, and we can beat anyone at the lane
Lads, 'Arry has ruled him out of the game. I really don't see how some of you still think he might play!
Somehow I highly doubt he was lying about this one. A setback to a back problem isn't something you can risk...
it's all mind games with harry hes now saying luka might be short just as he said bale might be short a couple of days ago. I wouldnt be surprised to see a full strength team against AC.

who knows with 'arry, for all we know he has a secret super signing he's waiting to unveil at Milan...:001_302:
De si Ibro?
Did Arry say this.........................Arry is up in court for being a lying fooker................Make ya own mind up.
In the piece I saw last night on SSN (it was the official after-match press conference), Harry said that Gareth had been given an epidural injection. Then, he said Crouchy had a similar injury and that, although his (Crouch's) scan had looked much worse than Bale's, Peter still made it to the bench, yesterday.
Was it just me, or did it sound to anyone else that Harry was having a dig at Bale, for being a bit of a wuss?
God, I hope this is true. Bale's pace would cause AC all sorts of problems.
Harry just did a phone interview or SSN, said the physios said he should be ready BUT in training today he had to pull out due to discomfort but said VdV should be fine and Modric will travel to either play or to make up numbers on the bunch. 'arry hinted that Crouch wont play and that we will have two keepers on the bench to make up numbers.
