    Wow, £40 mill for Modric is massive. If he doesn't want to stay Levy might well be tempted by that and who could blame him? If that is true then I think Modders might well be gone.

    Belamy? Just a good option to have on the bench, that's it.

    Yeah, but Bellamy gets about 90k a week and reportedly said he would not accept a pay cut. So a pretty expensive bencher! Although surely he can score a few goals for us, compared to certain other layabouts.

    Well, I think if he moves perhaps City will pay a small amount of his wages? A similar agreement to the one with Adebayor maybe.

    I think bellamy would be a good signing, I know his age but i think harry has said before about how quiet the team is so if you add bellamy, parker and ade things should be alot louder in there.

    Love Bellamy! Great player to come on and make an impact.

    I've heard City are willing to pay off his contract then he might actually be willing to take a pay-cut

    Didn't a city fan on here say they had internal problems with Bellamy and Ade? I know Bellamy was rumoured to be a source of leaks from the club, good player to have, though wish we had signed him when City did originally. Harry's been wanting him for ages.

    Massively injury prone, but Harry has a mancrush...bleh i dont know, the guy can score goals but i dont think hes any better than what we have now. Waste of money tbh.

    managers do play him on the left but hes right footed, wherever he plays hes dangerous and can at least put a cross in which lennon cant do. people say about lennons pace but you can be too quick that you cant control the ball as asppose to bellamy whos quick but actually has a footballing brain.

    Bellamy certainly gives a f*ck. That's for sure. And we need some leaders, characters, some fire in this team. Where was our captain when we needed some inspiration? Our heads go straight down whenever we concede, and we pretty much just fall apart. We need Parker and Bellamy for games like this- competitors who will fight to the death and make the team fight as well. There will be no more easy games played against us. We need credibility and pride after this, Bellamy and Parker will bring that.

    Parker is good enough for us but Bellamy isn't.

    Bellamy playing in cup and Europa league games would be fantastic. Bellamy working as a first team league game player would be sad.

    Bellers has passion and desire, he would do an outstanding job for any team in the premiership. It's a shame we can't use him in some capacity. He would improve your team a 10000%!

    I just realized we would have two Welsh wide players, sign him up.

    No but seriously a couple years ago, before Tevez got to Citeh, I felt like he was one of the most influential players on that squad. His age worries me and the injury proneness but healthy he's a beast. Similar player to Lavezzi, who I wanted us to sign, a forward/winger with a good work rate.

    He's vocal, he never lets his head drop and he doesn't mind getting stuck in. He's exactly what we need. Yes he'd be a squad player but this squad need personalities if it is ever going to compete. I doubt the dressing room would have been so quiet after yesterday's match if Bellamy had been in there. Our players need someone who isn't going to just mope after a battering the way Dawson does.

    We need another wide man in the squad to make Lennon fight for his place because Lennon I think Is becoming for to comfortable in his position as he knows nobody else in the team can play in his position with may be why his performances have been so average lately if not poor.

    adebayor, parker and bellamy. hmmm... throughout 2011 we have been hearing names like rossi, leandro and diarra so, if this is the eventual new line up i will be well chuffed as we are obviously matching luka's ambition (which is not aboot money, come on, it is basically aboot winning something). as said in this thread, bellamy is the obvious answer to all our problems, along with parker and adebayor. crack the champaign guys, it's party time : )

    keane <-> adebayor

    parker <-> palacios

    bellamy <-> dos santos

    now see, when you put it like that, i would say that they are upgrades to the alternatives pretty much

    I don't see parker as the same type of player as Palacios. I think we still need a player like who can break up play and close down the best midfields in the world if we want to challenge the top four. No doubt Parker is an upgrade on Jenas though, trouble is we can't shift him.

    Dont know if we are really in for Bellamy ,that season with Tevez at citeh he was immense and he did well for Cardiff last season, he does have a dodgy knee though and I would say not quite as good, but Craig and Adebayor would put some life into the wimps we have in our current squad lol.

    I don't think Bellamy would come to us. I'm sure he's said previously that he'd only ever leave City to move back to Wales so I doubt London would be an option for his family.
    I'm not convinced he's worth the wages he'd demand here anyway, he's a good player and more importantly a good leader, but not sure he's £90k a week's worth.
