For each new signing from the Summer 2015 on, I created a transfer rating poll where everybody could mark their opinion for posterity. This is the one year follow-up poll, where you can register your opinion on the transfer based on everything you've learned to date. We'll be able to compare the data to the original transfer poll and to the final transfer poll when the player leaves the club.

    3.
Very disappointing. Just didn't fit in with Poch's style of play.

I gave it a 1. He's been bad. And we'll lose money on him when we sell him. It was a purchase that never made sense to me.

1, maybe a 2...Can’t be anything else, he has done absolutely nothing, think he got the winner at Swansea in the league? I really thought he was gonna be a shrewd signing when we got him for 12m, the perfect guy as Kane’s backup, experienced, happy to sit on the bench most weeks, and a decent guy, he really ticked all the boxes, just so disappointing.

    5. Got the winner in the only league game he started for us. Helped us see out a few games like against West Ham. Some decent cup outings. Just didn't get enough minutes to show us anything more, not sure why Poch wanted him for only ~200 mins of prem football in a season where Kane was injured and clearly unfit for a month.

It's not like Llorente did anything to suggest he deserved more minutes, and Son was playing well. Would you have given the minutes to Llorente instead?

I would have after we tried Son there. I don't think Son played well at all up front during Kane's absence. I understand why we did as we wanted to give our other AMs more mins (Lamela and Moura).

3 ... Didn't get a lot of playing time with Harry mostly fit and Son having a great season ... that said when he did play he wasn't much good, missed way to many chances ....

Peter crouch would have been much better.

1 - He was a terrible purchase, which is as much down to us buying him as his actual level of performance. He was never going to suit our style of play, and we didn't even adapt our style to suit his skillset. I originally thought he'd be used sparingly, as a target man for a more direct plan B.

So yes, we bought a player that in no way fit into our style and when he was given opportunities he was fcuking bobbins to the point he couldn't even hold the ball up well.

The reports are that he was a champ in the locker room and a positive influence on the squad. I give him a 4 for that contribution alone. It also seemed like a bit of an experiment, one that failed.
