Hey man. We're all grasping at straws :) I'm interested to see if he's right. If so, maybe he is a real ITK

I wouldn't worry about a backup in two years. Shayon Harrison/Kazaiah Sterling could be ready to go or we can just go purchase another player, simples.

Any time a guy on Twitter has an open account and itk in his name is usually a dead giveaway that he's a troll

Fresh account. ITK in the name. Call Liverpool to sign a player they've been linked with all summer. Seems legit.

Sorry to split hairs but it was not scored directly from a corner (header/volley).
Dele had to have two bites of the cherry before it went in.

I think we're talking corner...to header...to back of the net. Llorente is not afraid to challenge the CBs for the ball there.

Well that's one half of the problem solved. Still need to solve the other half of getting the ball past the first defender on corners...

I've always liked Llorente and was surprised only Swansea were prepared to take him from Juve. I know he struggled a bit in Italy, but I think he's more suited to English footy than Italian. Llorente is actually way better with his feet than people realise and, whilst not quick, he's not a total sloth either. He's great at holding the ball up and will help bring the likes of Dele, Eriksen and, perhaps, Andre Gomes in from deeper positions.

At 32 he's perfect to back big H up and take some goalscoring pressure off of him, and they may even work quite well together in a similar way to Crouchy and VdV once did

Fernando Llorente's agent and brother Chus posted that picture of the striker in a Spurs shirt on Facebook.

He says: "After some very difficult days, very happy with the decision made..."

Its a massive stretch to say our goal didn't come from a corner. Flick on led to a shot and an immediate 2nd shot was scored

He's got decent form in the PL and at 32 will probably be happy to be Kane's back up. Could be an important impact sub.

Anyone who thinks Llorente doesn't offer much more than a big chap up front, this video shows how good he is with the ball at his feet, and he's perfectly capable of beating a defender with a trick too

He scored 15 goals in relegation struggling Swansea and scored against the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City. Liverpool in particular makes me smile as we all know their struggles at dealing with set-pieces and we all know how much we struggle against them. Being able to throw Llorente on against them with 15min left to play will give us so much threat which we didn't have before.

Also, Lloris at the back, Llorente at the front .... dunno why I find that symmetry so attractive, lol

So stoked with this signing!! It's exactly what we've needed for YEARS!! We've got a 20 goal per season striker leading our line and, finally, we've got a Prem proven, European experienced goalscorer who offers us something different to support him. BOOOOOOOOM!

So many clubs this window, like Everton and Chelsea, have made a couple big signings, but have arguably lost even bigger players than what they've brought in. Effectively they've spent £100m for a weaker squad.

We've held on to everyone and seriously strengthened our squad for the here and now as well as the future! Happiest I've been on TDD in AGES!

Very happy with this signing. We have a vastly experienced player who's proven in the prem and at an age where he will play second fiddle.

He's also played under Bielsa so knows this style of football and can offer us a plan B coming off the bench.

I was desperate for him a few years ago when he was a Bilbao player.

I think he's going to do really well here.

A lot of the time when I watch us play, I see a lot of good, creative moves but often a lack of finesse in the final stages. We have a really strong team which can defend better than anybody and create lots of chances, which covers over us not being as clinical as some of our competitors for the top places (Chelsea or City, for example). I'm hopeful he'll fit in here and help the whole team raise their level.

For the previous 2 seasons this signing would have won us the title, as we were a decent impact sub away. This season, I'm not convinced we've done enough for the top 4.

He's great in tight spaces which is probably what we need more than a counter attacking winger. I'm interested to see how he is used. Whether he will be a sub only or if he will play along with Kane when we play defensive minded teams. Maybe he can teach some of our other tall guys to head the ball into the goal instead of almost into the goal.

Fantastic signing. This is the type of signing i like to see. That we are not dogmatic in our approach of only signing young players, but can be flexible and also make a sensible purchase in a seasoned player who offers so much, offers cl experience aswell. A much needed striker postion and proven around the globe. 32 also, footballers last longer. His game has never been speed. I garentee he sees plenty of game time and will be so valuable to us. And to kane
