I know what you meant.

I'm saying his prospects for representing Canada just increased by him leaving. So you miss out in one area and potentially gain in another, ever cloud.

The main reason everyone thinks he hasn't chose to play for Canada is because his father is pushing him to play for the his father's birth country (Jamaica?). If he does chose Canada and Nathan De Guzman does as well I might actually start watching our games. Our stars never play for our country (Hargreaves comes to mind)

Was Hoilett even a thought to represent England?

Hoilett out of the question then? Maybe, let's see.

I would take Moses then

There were rumors he would wait to be eligible for England.

Surely he had to have been educated in England for five years though? Meaning that he isn't eligible anyway, as he only managed four years.

Is that the requirement for citizenship? He's been in country since he was 13. I read a story that said if he stayed in country for another 3 years he would be eligible, and that was last year (this season).

He's apparently eligible for the US in some way according to him and there's been rumors of this in the past.

Basing it on rumours from another board, so possibly not, need to look into it, but I know the FA have different criteria to other nations.
He left the country between 2007 and 2009, meaning to fulfill the requirement of having lived continuously in the country for 5 years, he wouldn't be eligible for the UK until 2014.

Moses is a good shout, but I'm going on a limb and saying the young Swiss at Fulham, Frei. I have no idea how much he'd cost, or how long is contract is (probably really long) but he's 18 with a lot of potential and him playing a partial role would work I think....

Said the same thing about Frei a couple months back. He is young and seems more a GDS than a Lennon or Bale. But that's what I think this squad can use, the one that we have now is broken.. Can he play on the right? I've only seen him on the left but he looks to be right footed.

For those you read english newspapers:

Fourth Official ‏@Fourth_Official
A website that works out the accuracy of newspapers when it comes to transfer rumours has 'The Guardian' as the most accurate

Fourth Official ‏@Fourth_Official
..Whilst 'The Metro' and 'Daily Mail' have been declared the least accurate newspapers for transfer information

Good if true, not because Pienaar isn't a good player but it suggests more quick decisions being made. Shame Dos Santos seems to have more lives than Top Cat or good old Sargeant Bilko (one of the same of course)

Adebayor at £5.5million might be cheap but his wages are not! Will be the highest paid player at Spurs if it all goes through ‪#THFC

Few asking about how Tottenham can afford some of their targets, incoming investment looks increasingly likely ‪#THFC‬

@FourthOfficial_: Jan Vertonghen transfer has finally been agreed, confirmation of Vertonghen and possibly Adebayor in the next 48 hours.

spursman18 you should change the threat title because apparently Fourth_Official is an imposter and FourthOfficial_ is the real one now?

The guy in the first link has no tweets now so the above point maybe true.

Underscored fourth official is the right one. The other's fake. He made his profile private last night, thankfully I was already following him.

Easy there, no need for hyperbole. Both great prospects with every chance of working out, but unrealistic expectations do no good :p

siggurdson is more of a prospect. vertonghen is as close to proven as you'll get without paying 50 million.......
