Well it would upset me. And not for some pro-American BS. We would essentially be paying Kim Jong-un for the slave labor of a footballer. And if he didn't do exactly what Kim Jong-un wanted him to do, everyone he's related to in North Korea would go straight to the gulag. Kwang Song Han's allegiance is to North Korea, willing or not, and it will never be to Spurs. He would try to play well for us if that is what he's told to do. But if he's told to throw a game so that Kim Jong-un can place a large bet against us, he'll do it. He'd have to. On the other hand if he is a bust and brings shame to North Korea it will go very badly for him. How would you like to be the one to bench him knowing that? This is not a feel good story in any way.

The other question I would have is that will he bring a North Korean monitor with him. If he doesn't then I bet he would defect.

If he could defect it would probably all be OK. But most North Koreans don't because of what will happen to their family back home.

How the heck do you put Lamela and Sissoko into the same sentence. One has been a disappoinment in every game he plays, and the other was really good before his injury, and injects creativity and pace each time he comes in.

I am not saying we don't need another player to push all of them (especially Dele) but Lamela should be playing more right now, that is one of our problems.

He may be a bit better but in so many ways Moura reminds me of Andros Townsend.
If this one has legs it'll be typical Spurs. Get rid of a local lad who loves the club, who didn't want to leave & has played for his country & replace him with a player who's got no PL experience & probably wont be that much of an upgrade.

Townsend hasn’t played for England in years and is incredibly average

Koreans are one and the same people..no religious or cultural divide or animosity between the common people.
Its only the rocketman and his power-hungry lineage that is causing all that political divide over there

They are planning to send a joint olympic team as well..so this works just as well..

Townsend wasn't a Poch player & he's not burning up the league now that he is playing regularly. Yes he's playing at an inferior side but that is his level.

Neres would be a very good signing & fit with
i honestly don’t get the love everyone has for Lamela, in my eyes he’s done nothing in a spurs shirt & I’d happily sell him

For me, Lamela basically typifies the type of player Poch wants/needs.
He skilled, committed, team oriented & has a fantastic work ethic (he's tenacious without the ball).
I believe that is why he was consistently on Poch's team sheet prior to his lengthy injury absence.

I get the " local lad, love the club" bit, these types of players dont seem to matter to PL clubs anymore, mainly due to foreign coaches in general , but in this case I dont think we"ve lost much with Townsend, I dont know how good Moura is, however MP gets rid of or doesnt use his wide players, so if this guy is that type I dont see how he fits.

    Haha, dat is... hillarious.
Townsend was, is and will be absolutely average player. Do I have to remind, for one season he was THE MOST WASTEFUL player in EPL with scoring rate of around 2% !!! Playing for England is not much of a standard, Livermore and Mason played there as well. So did Bentley etc. Not saying much. When we talk about England squad, we are talking about a side that has been a dissapointment in currenc century.

And you are comparing Townsend to Moura (who on the international level btw has played more than 30 games for Brazil)? Because... umm? They look a bit same? Thats all I can find similar. I mean you could say that it is because they both are faster than average. Then ofc Ronaldo, Robben and Dybala are a lot like Townsend as well? Fun stuff.

    Fun stuff indeed :)
I did allude to the fact that Moura was most probably a better player than Townsend just that there are more similarities between them than just looks.
Actually he's played 36 times for Brazil. Its very easy to put that out there as proof that he must be so much better than this or that player.
The truth of it is that 33 of those appearance's were before 2014. He failed to make their squad for the 2014 WC & in his 3 run outs since 2014 he's not scored.
My whole point really wasn't that they are equals just that if we were happy to ditch Townsend then we can do & have to do much better than Lucas Moura as a replacement.

956613528298971137 is not a valid tweet id

    This roughly translates to:

Very advanced negotiations with Tottenham for Lucas. Agreement imminent. Arsenal refused the player, Utd never started negotiations and Napoli prefers Younes. Goodbye Lucas and have a good beginning from supporters of the PSG.

Selling Lamela makes no sense. He seems to have a good relationship with Poch, and is Poch's kind of player as mentioned above. Tenacious on defense and is one of the few offensive players on our team who is a very good passer, along with Eriksen and Kane. We need him.

His future will depend on who we sign between now and the summer. While I think Poch has faith in him I do think if we were offfered near to what we paid for him that Levy would sell.

with chavs' Dzeko deal stalled, perfect time to hijack Dzeko as a revenge for Willian. If Roma accept a swap for Llorente...

Our revenge was Llorente for Willian, chavs retaliated by taking Barkley, its a ridiculously stupid situation.

Dzeko hijack would hurt them as bad as Willian move hurt a post-bale spurs team - they badly need a striker now since Morata is in bad form and we badly needed Willian to offset the Bale loss..

Ross Barkley loss was a "meh" since we arguably have better options

Dzeko and Moura would greatly improve our squad

Talk that André Schürrle is being offered to clubs. We enquired for him last summer but BVB wanted big $$$.

Could be a good option as a loan with option to buy if Moura falls through. Had a poor run a BVB however, but Poch could work his magic as we know he has quality.

Better forward option off the bench that Sissoko and provides cover for Son.

World Cup winner Andre Schurrle available on 18 month loan, ideal for Tottenham?
