Im fairly sure that we went for Eriksen instead of Willian? So win already for me
Lamela if anybody.
Willian was ready to sign pen in hand virtually, then he got a phone call....
Im pretty sure we went for Eriksen as a plan b because we failed to get Willian, but dont quote me on that.
Why would we when they don't play the same position?
What? They do pretty much?
Eriksen and Willian play the same position? Eh?
Both can play pretty much all over the attacking midfield
All I'm saying is that Willian went to Chelsea 25th August, and we signed Eriksen the 31st.
Eriksen has never played wide for us and Willian is primarily a winger. Lamela makes much more sense as the prices and positions match much better.
Maybe was Lamela then, I was pretty certain that Willian played attacking center midfield in Anzhi though..
Shock swap talk.
Llorente for Batshuayi
Highly unlikely but I would welcome this.
Chelsea still striking out finding a replacement for misfiring Morata.
This merry-go round deal isnt happening....Bats doesnt want to come here to be 2nd choice like he is for Chelsea. He wants to be first choice so cant see it happening, especially as there are 2/3 other players involved in the deal to go to other clubs
Agreed as I had read somewhere that Bats didn't want to come to Spurs for that very reason.
Just wondering how he'd do as a wide man?
not his preferred position
Llorente for break even $ sounds like a good enough deal. At this point of time Levy should just be f-ing with them.
How I wish Llorente is flogged off and we go in for a last minute Dzeko deal
Somewhat surprisingly, The Telegraph report that Tottenham are not opposed to letting Llorente join Chelsea but are demanding a hefty £17 million fee for the Spaniard. That would represent a big profit on a player they signed for just £12m from Swansea in the summer, despite only scoring once in the Premier League this season – ironically against his old club.

Assumed we were going for Eriksen regardless of the Willian outcome, they would've played different positions and would've been a fine window of activity after the Bale departure
I can't think of what Chelsea are up to.
They seem very keen to get a tall centre forward.

Riyad Mahrez: Leicester City winger hands in transfer request as Man City make bid Riyad Mahrez: Leicester City winger hands in transfer request as Man City make bid - BBC Sport
Lolwut? For like 18 months he lined up out wide left until Son started banging them in.
Who cares where he "lined up" in a formation with 3 interchangeable AMs. He didn't operate out wide. He isn't a winger.
Guardiola one year ago: "We can't compete with all the money being thrown around". One player gets injured (Sane), immediately tries to sign Mahrez.
The Bat-man is off to Dortmund
Well, they've got one now. OG is 6' 4".
Yep. Looked nailed on to be him with the merry go round.
Pleased with our business.
I think Moura could be a difference maker for us. Adding that little something we lack: providing width, pace & skill. But still not confirmed yet.
Giroud done for Chelsea
Leicester have shit on Marhez big time. He will sit on his ass and leave in the summer for less.

sums up his attitude if he does....which also goes along with whats been said about him, he's a sulky bitch and thats why whenever someone says lets go after him that people say he's not worth it.
99 out of a 100 I would agree. He’s under contract, get on with it. This one smells like the 100th. Daft to keep him. They are going nowhere this season and could have used the slickers money wisely. Bad move.
