Apparently they're haggling over terms. If he accepts a 3 year it would be backloaded contract which are common in american sports, 4/4.5/4.5 etc. I don't think it's enough to stop a deal getting done.

Probably £3m, that's the number that's been kicking around.

Huge loss on the £16M paid to bring him back to the Lane, but he is on good wages and that could go towards the signing of Adebayor?

Legend? I hold him in a similar regard to the likes of Steve Sedgley. Legends dont kick up a stink as soon as another club comes in for them.

Been stealing 60K a week since his return. If you think hes a legend, you have only been supporting Spurs for 5 mins.

You didn't answer my question from you last thread: http://www.tottenhamhotspurs.tv/forum/know-itk/23282-beckham-update.html

If you want to be part of this forum you need to actually be part of conversations and contribute, right now your contributing completely unsubstantiated bits of information that have only been received negatively. It is not really appreciated and it would be if you decided to actually have a normal discussion like the rest of us.

Look at it this way we have around £6m of additional payroll for this season, his transfer fee £3m and his salary £3m. I don't think we would use that on one player, but that's around £115k in weekly wages we could reinvest.

Then it is completely ridiculous that you are so sure of the 2013 plans. Maybe you just need to reword things from science fact to it has been discussed... Because the way you word things comes off as complete bullshit.

Also I don't know about the 3 year deal part, but it is not hard to figure that Levy in the states (which has been previously discussed by ITKs etc.), and Keane linked to an MLS move (also well discussed within ITKs and media), does not mean that DL is there on deadline day for Keane, so you have added that keane wants a 3 year deal. Not really contributing much to what we already know.

Just to add this could almost cover the Adebayor loan. I've always thought Citeh wouldn't loan to us if we didn't cover more of his wages.

    Spurs cover £75k.
    Citeh cover £100k.
Spurs pay a £3m initial fee, with a £10m permanent clause.
So actually Citeh are only responsible for around £40k. (Which I'm sure their youth team players are on:y7:)
Finally Spurs only add around £10k to their overall weekly wage bill.

That could be the best deal Citeh are going to get.

Yes, but don't forget we got him from Leeds for £7m and sold him to the Bindippers for £19m

So it's a 500k loss, as far as the transfer fee.

It's hard to determine how much of his wages we paid during that period because he went on loan a couple times.

The guy is a legend. He has scored so many important goals for us and then some. I couldn't care less if we let him go on a free. We still got value for money.

Obviously, and I think it's clear that I was responding to the notion of us taking a huge loss which isn't the case.

Anyways the Fail seems to think it's the other way around 3 million American dollars. Everyone else is reporting the figure as 3 million pounds.

How has this gone under the radar? Clearly you forget how important he was to us before he went to the bindippers. I'm not a huge fan anymore by any stretch of the imagination but what you've said here is ridiculous - and you're surprised and upset when we call bulls*** on your 'ITK'

he hasnt been the player we wanted him to be since we resigned him, but to suggest he isnt a club legend (in the top scorers list of all time at spurs btw) and that whoever considers him to be isn't a real fan is plain stupid.

Keane = sedgley? Please do one.

It's a sad day to see Keano go, He's been a legend for this club sadly I don't feel like I ever looked at him the same after he left for Liverpool know Berbatov was on his way too and his return to the Lane was never sincere but needless to say he is a made man!

It didn't go unnoticed man, the lad is clearly a clown. No one is taking anything he says seriously, be it bullshit "ITK" or ridiculous states about people not being "real fans" because they consider Keane a club Legend. Every time he posts he is aggressive and offensive in replies. Nobody is wasting their fingertips on him.
