What do you guys think? Will he make it into the squad next season?
Out with Hutton/Kaboul/Corluka, make room for Kyle?

I haven't seen many games with him in Aston Villa, but i've heard that he has making a great job (those games he has played).

Will definitely be fighting for a first team place next season. Still needs to proves on his defending and positional sense (that'll improve with more games) but a fantastic weapon going down the line. Hopefully he gets a fair amount of games next season, with Hutton being sold for a decent fee. He'll be battling with Charlie for that RB position, I dont see Kaboul being a long term solution at RB (if we need him to play there then its a good option to have) more of a CB for me.

I have to agree with spursman18.

I personally would play him against teams like West Brom, Wigan etc and the big teams arsenal, Chelsea man utd play Charlie or kaboul.

A top prospect who can only get better.

I don't rate Corluka at all...he was dog sh*t at the beginning of the season and he's been dog sh*t recently too. He's good back up but he shouldn't be in our first eleven. Hutton should be sold now IMO because Walker is the same kind of right back, and he's younger.

For me first choice should be Kaboul, but I'd like to see Walker rotated in. He can play in the Europa League and against lower half Premiership teams.

the pass to bent for there first goal yesterday was top class....hardly an attribute totally necessary for a right back but handy all the same!

Earlier in the season, I was rating Micah Richards very highly..

However, I reckon Kyle Walker has more potential, his crossing especially seems to be really good.

He is awesome. Will be a huge player for Citeh and England.

Would love him learning from King in a Lillywhite.

Yeah no doubt..

What I like about him, is the fact that in years to come after his legs start to go, he can slot into the CB role..

Walker

Beautiful bit of work to put Welbeck in for the England goal in the U21's (FT Spain 1 - 1 England)

Really think this guy should be our first choice RB next year, he's proved he can do it in the prem and could work so well down the right with Lennon. What do other people think? Walker, Corluka... or Hutton / Kaboul :001_005:

Oh most definetly need this guy in the team certainly ahead of the useless Hutton anyway, from what ive seen of the lad hes looks very acomplished as a defender and coming forward.

I'm gonna re-post this over here.

People who think that 'Arry is sending Walker out on loan again consider the source. The basis for your assumptions are from an article in the Sun. 'Arry's actual words....

Yeah that was from a couple of months ago but I don't see what could have possibly changed so drastically since then. Walker has only improved since 'Arry made that statement.

I was going to say we shouldn't let him go anywhere! Corluka was absolutely appaling most of last season. It may just be me, but he can't pass and he's painfully slow, I don't rate him at all

Him and Hutton can go I think, Walker to be no1 RB, Kaboul can play there if needed

I see no reason why Charlie and Walker can't co-exist in the same squad.

corluka cant pass? Why dont you watch everytime him and lennon line up and charlie slips it between the centre back and full back for azza to run on to. Him and charlie link up really well, if corluka wasnt so slow then he would be up there with the sagnas of this world.

We do need to keep Charlie around; that's the one thing that we can offer Modric that Man U/Chelsea etc can't.

I would like to see Walker and Corluka battling for the starting spot, with Hutton sold. Kaboul as backup.

If fact I would prefer Walker/Charlie/Kaboul.

Naughton should go. Naughton is a good player but he's never going to surpass Walker IMO and he's too valuable to sit on the bench.

Maybe I'm harsh on Corluka, but opinions are opinions and I don't like him

Agreed that he's good for Modric though!

I don't have any official stats but I would wager he cost us more goals both in Europe and the league then Gomes.

i agree and not only that he costs us going forward due to him not being able to pass. I dont think we have seen many worse players play for us in the last 5 years. He did have a good spell and i thought he might have had a mini revival ill admit but he just went back to his old ways within about 3 weeks and i just think he's a footballer lacking talent.
