Report: Tottenham remain a problem for Barcelona in Goretzka race

No-brainer really if there was even a sniff of a chance to get him.

Quite nervous about Eriksen in the summer, with Liverpool rebuffing Barcelona for Coutinho - they may just come for Eriksen with everything they have and may be too much for Levy and Eriksen to ignore.

Need to start thinking of a successor

I think Bayern will come in for Eriksen.

Goretzka I'm not completely convinced by. He can look a little ponderous to me, but that if often the case with taller players and they are actually often deceptively quick. We see the opposite with smaller players, like Defoe, who look like they a flying, because their little legs are moving so quickly, but they aren't actually that fast.

I'm a big admirer of Goretzka and I believe he could becoma a top CM. Really crossing my fingers for this one.

Regarding Eriksen. I also believe this might be the last season for him at Spurs. In my opinion he's one of the top CAM in the world and he will most likely want to take the next step in his career soon. In the best case scenario he will take that step with Spurs. Anyway, losing Eriksen will be a heavy blow for us. He really is the 'spider in the web' for most of our attacking game and it will be very hard to replace him.

I think eriksen will sign a new deal this summer and stay to play in the new stadium, but that's probably the best case scenario. Would definitely take goretzka.
