For each new signing, I will create a transfer rating poll for everybody to mark his opinion for posterity. We'll then be able to review the data in the future and compare it to how well the transfer actually turned out.

I went with a 7 though could've gone 8. He's a proven player in a pretty high level league, and I definitely feel he can help us. And we will need all the help we can get to finish top 4. Hopefully Sissoko does not play after this. Our biggest need is a CM, but when you're shopping for bargains, you have to choose from what's available. I'm confident we'll address CM in the Summer.

He was inexpensive for a player of his proven quality, which doesn't really make him cheap, as 25 million pounds is still an awful lot of money.

Have to go 8 at that price in this day and age. How in the world did we get him for over 10m cheaper than PSG paid for him 5 years ago straight out of Brazil, it's insane.

7....his ability is exciting but he's going to have to get adapted quickly in order to make an impact. Great option to have though so it definitely helps the squad

I've rated it a 9. I really like this signing. Gives us another player that will run at defenders, and he is very skilled on the ball.

The purpose of this poll is to note for posterity what your opinion is of the transfer at the time it happened. i.e. if you were Levy, would you have done this?

You will have 2 more opportunities to say what you think of the transfer: in 1 year and when he leaves the club.

Based on how happy I was it’s got to be a 9

9 - experienced at the highest level. Brings creativity and speed to the attack. In this day and age, bargain price. Only 25yo, so potential for growth.
He's also looking at getting himself into the Brazil squad for the WC, which can only be good for us.

Judging by the price I rated it a 9. Even if it takes some time for him to gel with the team he'll still be an asset. I mean this guy has som serious pace. I'd say he's on a similar level as Salah and Mané and we've really lacked in that aspect of the game.

I don't believe he'll be scoring as much as he did in Ligue 1 though. I don't rate the majority of the french teams but as stated above I believe he can be a real asset in other aspects.

7.5 for me, think he'll be a good purchase but his lack of match practice probably limits his immediate impact but that no doubt also reduced their asking price.

I m really looking forward to this guy, altough I haven t seen him play in a long time. Few years back I was soo impressed by his vision and how he always played with his head up, looking to play others in. He can run at full speed and still keep track of his teammates, something most wingers can t. In other aspects he reminds me quite abit of Townsend. He s got all the tools and technice, just that last moment of shooting doesn t come off that often. If he can work on that he will be a massive addition and now we certainly have no reason to keep Sissoko around anymore.

    6.5 from me.
He's a good player & as well as having pace to burn he brings a lot of experience & a winning mentality.
I'm 50/50 on whether this will turn out to be a good or bad signing but he has my full support & best wishes in the lilywhite.

    7.
He's the type of player we needed, but he's got a lot of adapting to do in a short space of time. We might not see the best of him until next season. He wanted to move due to reduced game-time at PSG, so I'm interested to see what kind of role he'll have here.

Remember we're getting a lot for a little money here. He's experienced, he's not old, he's not injured, he has a very good record, not a head-case as far as I know. PSG just basically threw him away like last year's shoes.

    He’s going to be awesome.

Takes a nice penalty by the look of it but won’t get the bell off Harry.
Might win us a few though.

    Ticks all the right boxes.
    Brings pace.
And an experienced Brazilian national for under 30mil to boot.

    8

Attacking mid options are looking mightily good at the moment: Eriksen, Dele, Son, Coco, Moura. What's not to like? :)
