    Hi guys,
Im new to this, and just wanted to add a few yarns of Spurs memories from years gone by.......

I remember the great FA Cup run in 1981 ( the greatest in my opinion). I was lucky enough to win a standing ticket for the 81 Cup Final in the ballot (I can still remember the lucky letter 'O' that won me that ticket). Going 1-0 down, and the joy of the equaliser as Glenn Hoddle smashed in a freekick (via Hutchinson's shoulder).

The Replay was THE game though. The "Ricky Villa Show". What a game that was. Going 1-0 up through Villa, we managed to be 2-1 down (after a magical volley from McKenzie and a dodgy penalty!!!) only for Garth Crooks to steal an equaliser, then "Ricky Villa's magic for 3-2.

I was 14 at the time, and watched it with my dad. It was a game we still spoke about 20+ years later.......

Check out the other entries that I have posted titled "MEMORIES OF WHITE HART LANE". It's a trip down memory lane for Spurs fans of matches and memories of years gone by.

If you have enjoyed reading my musings then you might just like them, let me know what you think, or check out my profile, or even subscribe to my blog....COYS

Really good memories. I was lucky enough to go to most of the FA Cup ties in 81.

As I remember we didnt leave London until the Semi Final, and even the Semi Final replay was at Highbury (With another Ricky Villa special as we won 3-0).

I was one of the THOUSANDS of SPURS in the famous North Bank that night,

and the memory of Spurs going mental as Crooks scored at the North Bank End is a memory that i cherish....

And who could forget how sad "Ricky Villa" looked after being subbed in the 1st game, only to come back 4 days later in the replay and play THE game of his life.....COYS

I'm another one who was at those games. But I saw two sides on how to see the game. I bought my ticket and stood in the stands. My father got into an executive box some how. After the game I went up to claim my ride home, only to see how the other half live. Excellent view of the pitch, TV's for the replays, loads of space to move around and he best bit, bunny girls serving food. When I die I'd life to be served food by a bunny girl while watching Spurs win a cup.
