    They're over-hyped, right?

They should be 8-0 but no, they're 5-3 after losing against the Jazz last night.

Millsap had 46 points in that game.

What's going wrong at Miami? Lets put this in perspective, New Orleans Hornets are 7-0.

Yup! But I don't mind it puts the Lakers in the ideal position of being under the radar back-to-back champion. I don't think that's ever happened...

The Hornets look decent and who would have thought that after their off-season. But they have good size at just about every position, shooters and decent bigs coming off the bench.

P.S. LOL @ the Denver Nuggets you should be ashamed of yourselves...

I don't follow the NBA at all really however if i wanted a team to do well it would be Utah Jazz so i'm glad you pointed out that they beat Miami. :)

I'm a casual Bulls fan but I will be honest and say that I have caught a few Heat games. Lakers still have the best player and coach in the league so I put them down as the team to beat. Heck, they will probably end up having to beat the Celtics again in the finals.

they could win championship..season is long and most of the good teams doesnt play serious enough till the play off starts...

i must say im dissapointed with Lebron's move to Miami..its not even fun to watch...its a big shortcut to play with Wade and Bosh and he should of stay or move in some other team with good salary so the team should be built around him..he took the easy way...

They lack a good center and point guard.

Not trying to be funny but the hornets was probably their toughest fixture in the 9 games. Just wait til they face tougher teams.

Heat's win streak ended at 12...but they were so close to losing it against the Wizards. They have some really tough fixtures coming up, including a juicy one on Xmas day...

aint that the team that lebron james plays for? there was a big fuss in the summer about him?

don't watch the NBA at all but if i had to watch any american sport it would be basketball, baseball is just a poor man's cricket imo

Bosh is a terrific player but he's an outside PF and what they lack is strength in the paint. Had they got Boozer or Amar'e instead of him they'd be better off. They only need time tho, Lebron and Wade are the two best in the league atm and they win games by themselves, they are getting better defensively and moving more offensively, with the set of player they have they can do amazing things, if only they could get a strong rebounding C and they'd be a nearly perfect team in theory

yep thats his team , both him and bosh moved together to miami to form a team of one of the best basketballers in the nba Bosh, Wade, James, with james probably being the best closley folllowed by kobe.

If you look at some of the signings over the winter, you'd see that it's a very very rich man's sport lol. But I get where you're coming from.

Fell out with the NBA a few years ago, but am slowly coming back. Where I live, college basketball is king-closest thing we have to the PL and Football League in terms of fan support, etc.

The Heat are like the Man City of the NBA, they'll fold in the playoffs IMO.

I lived in England for awhile and once one of my buddies tried to teach me about cricket, it was a futile attempt. I'm a baseball guy.

I'm sorry but no, Cricket doesn't produce half of the revenue that baseball does. It may be a mainly domestic sport but it's big domestically. Cricket is non-existent in America, which is the biggest media market in the world.

Heat played well defensively and I was amazed at how they had played. The Heat have gelled and I take back what I had said previously, they are a team to keep an eye out for.

I was not amazed! I know how good they can be, they just need time. I also said they will be much stronger in the playoffs as they need time like a football team which is new to find them.

But Lakers was really really poor as always on christmas.

Dont ever expect lakers do perform like they did yday lol.

next game will tell me when they face each other.

So true, every friggin' Christmas. The Lakers usually pick it up after Christmas.
