You'd be right, and there are plenty of lifeless nerds around here to use as evidence of this fact!

But that is beside the point! Welcome to the forum. Enjoy the talk and get involved. COYS!

Haha brilliant!! I've only been on a day. Who can resist talking about the most dynamic team in the prem right now. Cheers about the yiddette mention too. To be honest I'm outnumbered in my house. My sisters are typical biased gooners unfortunately, so this may be the place to see people talk some sense about football, good or bad.

How did you heroically 'escape'? :p

    Maybe ;)

Yeh it's usually kept sensible round here, although sometimes it can get heated like any other forum.
At this moment though, times are good round here. We're all buzzing for Sunday and you can be happy telling your sisters that all their first choice centrebacks are major doubts, not that they were that good to begin with ;)

    COYS!

Haha well my family is sort of split in half. My dads side are season ticket holders at spurs. I go with my uncle and my cousin and my mums side are arsenal fans. It certainly makes derby day very interesting in our house. Think I personally picked the better side to follow obviously. Aha I did let them know that, my sister threw the Rafa and Ade aren't fit either at me but I soon put her right. Should be a great match though

Rafa is highly attractive I must say...from a totally straight macho guy perspective I mean.
His missus is also very very fit :p

I just sang the chant in my head after reading that. 'He's just as good as Hoddle, he's better than Chris Waddle, his mrs is a model its Rafa van der Vaart' :p haha
It'll be good to see him play again though, he should slot straight back into the line up, i dont think harry will bench him

I've written my own, but it doesn't seem to catch on:

    'Van Der Vaart, oooooh
    Van Der Vaart, oooooh
    We got him from Madrid
    For just a couple-a-quid!!'

Harry will probably play a 4-5-1 or a 4-4-1-1 with Rafa on the right somewhere cutting inside on his left, Saha in front of Ade (playmaker to striker) Bale on the outside switching flanks with Lennon halfway through. Sandro should go in the middle so he can just bulldoze his way through whatever central defender Wenger has left :p Falque should be given a chance too. He'll have Gibbs for breakfast/lunch :p

That's good! I always just sing 'Rafa the Gaffer' to the tune of the Robin Van Persie chant to my sister (especially if Arsenal are losing, so the last few weeks i've had a field day with that one) :p
Yeah i can see us reverting back to the old 4 -5 -1 to be honest. I dont think Rafa likes playing the wide role that much, so he needs to almost be given back the role Bale's been playing of late. Is Parker match fit? HAHA I would love that. Yeah he looks like he's got potential. The Arsenal game might be too big an occasion for him. Maybe wait til we've got at least 3rd place secure and given him a run out towards the end of the season. I could have Gibbs for breakfast :p just tread on his toes and he'll be out for 3 months

4-4-2 could work too, Rafa can slot in the hole behind Saha/Defoe/Ade. Much better choice of strikers now :)

BTW, I'm curious to know, what does ZP stand for? Is your name Zoe something? Or is it short for a character trait of yours (zippy) :p

Welcome - this IS a splendid place, I am so sorry to hear about the affliction suffered by your sisters, maybe you can hire one of those Deprogrammers who sort out people who have been brainwashed into joining cults to help them?
