Well, if the ref won't let us win, we'll just have to capitalize on a Barca error. Nice finish by Lamela. The ball didn't curve, throwing the keeper off entirely

Sissoko should be a punter in the NFL

Trying to demoralize Barca by making them feel stupid they couldn't score on his error?

You know, for a little guy Lucas sure has a long leg when it comes to trying to toe poke the ball away from a herd of Barca players

What a match! Come on boys, let’s do it we’re not out of it yet!
PS: Lamela just keeps getting better, he’s back to his 2015-2016 form!

Now I have a mental picture of Lloris with a top hat and a highball while Benny Hill music plays

Do we ever learn that we can't play it out of the back vs Barca?

Well, we gave it a real go. That Hugo is why you hoof it. Is it bad that the post was a better keeper today?

Good game. We gave it a go and maybe we'd have done better without all the injuries. Lamela is turning into a monster.

f**k, football never tells lies. It has a way of telling us who is class, who carries their weight, and who holds you down. I'm a little too volatile to go into detail about what was inspiring and disappointing in this game, but its been an eye opener.

As good as Barca were, it was still just two pieces of crap goalkeeping that cost us. There are times when you just have to get it up the pitch! Larsson got it right before the game when he said Lloris has always got an error in him. On the bright side, I thought we showed a lot more energy and HK looked sharp - if only he'd spent more of the game up front!

3 mistakes cost us 3 goals. Hard to swallow when two are by the keeper.

I'll say again. Why is kicking the ball out of bounds worse than kicking it back to the keeper? And Lloris absolutely can't handle it. Just kick it out of bounds up the pitch a ways and then press like hell.

Overall I feel OK about the game. We played with real spirit and did better as the game went on. Winks may have saved his career in the second half after an terrible first half. Sissoko was pretty good I thought, except for his comic relief shot on goal, which everyone knew was going into the top row before he struck it.

I just hope the Lewis realizes that he will loose his entire "investment" if he doesn't inject some money into the team. (And no, building a stadium is not that. It's just an asset completely of a separate type.) I don't know what FFP would say, but we need some reinforcements or the players are going to give up. We can't go on guts and passion game after game.

I don't know what game others were watching. Having seen the game I thought we were utterly outclassed and were lucky to only have lost by 2.

They ran rings through us and were constantly straight up against our back 4. Barely any midfield protection.

Feeling pretty down about it and highlights what I had feared going into this season: a weak core at CM

Second half was better but let's be honest, we didn't have an attacking player who turned up for more than 5 minutes. We had no centre mid. Dier made a big difference.

    Sissoko lol

Lloris was on the magic mushrooms but I'd like to see that first goal again. I thought he originally come bombing out because he thought Davies? Was going to nod it back to him. He was then committed to come rushing out even more.

Don't mind getting beaten by class but we also gave them a massive hand.

We were totally outclassed. Thus the need for money spent. We have the spirit but we don't have the horses.

Proud of the effort, but bottom line we were outclassed, and probably didn't deserve a draw.

Before the game I said if we only give up one goal I am positive we will win. We're just giving away too many soft goals.

CL looks to be done unfortunately. Need Barca to do Inter twice, and we need to get at least four (probably six) against PSV.
