positive showings from N koudu and Skipp. I am so sad to see KWP perform like this, something seems not right. He s so much better then what he s showing atm.

We lost on pens. 2-2 after full time. We attacked really well actually. Not so great defensively when trying to play out. Most had a decent game. Young lad Skipp did well. Georgiou some nice passes. Eriksen and Son the usual solid game. N'Koudou did alright.

Carter Vickers looked solid. Aurier got into some good positions. Walker Peters didnt have a very good day at all. Out of position?

Decent workout albeit against a Barca side who consisted of good players but never heard of most of them.

No good playing him on the left. He must be crushed. He was no good against Roma either. He needs a chance at RB.

...although Skipp, N'koudou, and CCV all showed improvement, I still think only Amos and Georgiou could make it as Premier League starters...
    ...Davies is not a CB...

Needs to play in his preferred position, simple as that.

Moura was our best player in the first half. Aurier had a solid game. Our defense was terrible aside from Aurier. Once Barca made a bunch of changes, we took over the game and our defense wasn't really challenged.

KWP was woeful...he was way out of position multiple times, which was his issue when he played on the right side for us in competitive matches. Poch has clearly shown that Aurier is our other RB (besides Trippier) with his team selection. Regardless of whether Rose stays or goes, KWP is not going to be Davies' backup. So a loan would be best for him this year.

KWP never was going to be Rose's backup. He's only playing there because Foyth got hurt and Davies had to move to CB. I'd like to see Aurier play LB and KWP play RB before I made any decision. Maybe next game? N'Koudou is not a bad player. If he had real desire to make mark in the game he could play for us. It's getting late for him to change though.

I think if KWP was gonna get a shot at RB during these games, it would’ve happened already. It seems Poch has made his decision that Aurier is our 2nd RB, which seems completely reasonable. That makes KWP surplus for this season. Hence: loan.

Maybe KWP's attitude is being tested. How will he cope mentally with playing out of position? It also might just be Poch doesnt think hes good enough to play for Spurs at the moment. Hes basically making up the numbers playing on the left. He wasnt trusted last season either. There were a few opportunities where he could have started but never did.

KWP is very adapt at playing on the left, he did so for the national team and for us. He s very 2 footed, cuts inside all the time no matter on which flank you play him. He just doesn t seem in the right shape or mind atm. I still have high hopes for him, just frustrates me to see him so off, when i had big hopes for him this year with neither Aurier or Trippier impressing last season.
