No other players maybe? Most of the team are on holiday, I don't see what he sees in Sissoko, he proved last night that he doesn't really give us anything

He's a better DM than he was an attacker... I'm still not saying he good. I really enjoyed the shot he blasted into the upped deck last night.

Sissoko is ok as a CM. Does the donkey work, helps us win possession, break up counters.

I thought Lamela was good, he played a big role in two of the goals.

Good to know he's improving. By season's end he'll be hitting the lower tier!

Let’s not normalize Sissoko as ok. He’s not ok. Doing donkey work is not enough for ok. It’s enough for bad instead of very bad.

Let's face facts. Sissoko has difficulty controlling the ball when receiving a pass. He has difficulty aiming the ball between the goalposts on the odd occasion he gets into a good position. His passing is so-so. His defending is so-so. He is not a 'dirty' player, but does have his moments. He is paid £75k weekly for these 'attributes'. No other club wants to buy him.

To sum up, he is pretty useless.

    Begs the question....

Who of those responsible for making multi million pound decisions that have such a direct and significant effect on the very existence of this club , had the temerity to sanction the transfer of such a player ?

I would love to know, seems a bit odd to me but , they can find up to a £1Billion pounds for a new stadium but cant find a tenth of that for transfers .
