Great spirit there. Inter nulled the game for long periods and not a lot was happening. The two subs were massive. We needed that bit of extra quality in Son and Eriksen. Some proper help for Kane. Lamela and Moura dont gamble enough.

Watching the highlights again, what I never realized is just how deceptively FAST Sissoko is. He motors away from almost everyone and it looks like he's at about 80 percent. He's HUGE too. He's turning into YaYa Toure!!!!

With him, Moura, Lamella, Serge, and Foyth all coming good, who needs summer transfers!?!?! :) :)

PS I'm joking. But now it looks like fullback is our deepest need, particularly on the left.

I can't see Barca 'putting out the kids' for our game. Have Barca fielded weak teams at home in the past when they have already qualified?

I've no doubt they may rest 1 or 2 players, but certainly won't play a weak team (do they even have a weak team in their champions league squad!)

I agree, I do not think top teams can field a weaken team considering how much talent they all have.

They'd be foolish not to rotate. As long as Messi isnt in the starting Xi were fine. Barca have been very shaky in some of their recent games, they leak a lot of goals so I think our front 4 can take advantage of that.

They have been far from being tight in the back, but we must absolutely, under no condition, give up a goal in the opening minutes again. It really threw a wrench into our gameplan last time.

A really good performance from the team. I was dreading that match ending 0-0 and having to come here and read everybody say how we sucked when we were clearly good. Glad the result in the end reflected the play of the match. Inter played for the draw and almost got it, but we had enough quality to see it through. And I can't believe I'm going to say this: freakin' Sissoko MOTM.

We are now set up for utter heartbreak of course for match day 6. Inter hosting PSV and us traveling to Barcelona is a recipe for 3rd place. But I guess you never know. You have to think Barca will rotate heavily....their bench players are all very good of course but it gives us a chance. And maybe we can get some help from PSV.

I'm *still* mad about how the assistant referee stole 2 points from us at PSV.

Messi very rarely sits out a game. He always wants to be on the pitch, chasing goal scoring records and the like.

For those interested in that sort of thing, our odds to advance are 7/4 or 36%. Better than I expected frankly.
