Won home leg 1-0 in November. Fully expect a win this Sunday with a fully rested, full strength side. Not sure what fullbacks he will go with (but predicting Trippier and Davies), but besides that the XI should be fairly easy to predict.

Lloris; Tripper, Sanchez, Jan, Davies; Dier, Dembele; Son, Eriksen, Dele, Kane.
Lucas to come on regardless of score for probably 25 min, Lamela, Wanyama all to sub on.

    3-0
    Kane, Dele, Dier.

Agree with that above. Though I am looking forward to Dier scoring.

With Toby back to fitness if Poch doesn't go back to a 3 CB formation i don't see it changing back for the rest of the season
Think it'll be a close game imo
    Spurs by 1 again

Can’t see us going to three at the back unless Toby really put a shift in during this week’s training exercises. If he does though, I’m expecting Aurier and Rose out wide bombing forward.

I think we will start seeing Toby get back to form after another 90’ against Rochdale.

I think the team chooses itself, so I expect no changes from the past few EPL games. But whatever Poch decides, I sincerely hope he is targeting Toby for the Juventus match. We need his experience to keep tabs on Higuain.

We've given away some soft goals lately (one to Liverpool, one to Juve, two to Rochdale)...if we can keep a clean sheet I have no doubt we will win.

If we win, we will either go 4th, or stay 5th but only two points off 2nd.

    Dier-Dembele
    Eriksen-Dele-Son

Nobody wants to give Moura full start? Son needs a break from starting and should come on as a sub this game.

    Attack, attack, attack.
I'm going for the highly unlike 11 playing 3-3-1-3 of.....

    ....................................Lloris
    Toby.........................Sanchez............................Jan
    Tripps.........................Moose.........................Davies
    ..................................Eriksen
    Lucas..........................Kane..............................Dele

Much needed game time for Toby, Eriksen in a free role & Lucas in the attack.
    Looks pretty good to me.

they've had 8 days off since Rochdale....still like Moura coming off the bench and giving us a change of pace.

He has not looked healthy to me in the minutes he's played. I'm not hugely surprised by this news.

Just checked physioroom and they are listing it as a thigh injury. So maybe it's not the same problem. Or maybe it is, not real clear.

Sometimes when you've got an injury you start running weird to compensate and end up hurting something else. That's my guess.

Can we finally all agree Poch was right to leave Toby out of our big games?

I would really love to see Lucas start this game. I'm just not sure he's "earned" it, in the sense that you would sit Son or Dele though. But maybe. As good as Dele and Son are and have been, I could see Lucas bringing something we really need. No one on the team aside from Dembele can control the ball and dribble like Lucas. He is exactly the type of skill player we need to unlock defenses. He and Dembele would make an amazing pair on the field. And I can see Lucas taking up more central ground than most of our wingers. He seems absolutely deadly down the middle. I'm sure he will be cutting in a lot.

But I do think Lucas makes us a lot more dangerous.

And I think we are ok without Toby at the moment. It's not worth risking until he's actually fully healthy. No clue whats actually going on with his contract. It worries me a bit, but I think with the additions of Sanchez and Foyth this year, we will be ok still having a healthy Dier and Jan.
For this Palace game though, I definitely don't think we would need Toby though. This is one we should take all 3 points from whether we start Toby or not and whether we start Lucas or not.

No real problem with Moura getting a start but Son had a break against Juventus and was subbed off in the two previous games so not sure why he'd need a break from starting vs say Dele.

I don't want to see anyone lose their job to Moura. Just good rotation all around would be fine.

Son has not been quite at it lately, nobody, apart from Moura impressed at Rochdale to be considered for this.
As long as he doesnt talk to his alter ego for too long , he could be considered for a start,

Agreed, when you have multiple quality players, the best strategy is to rotate. It’s very easy to get caught up in a player’s recent form. In the stock market, this is called “performance chasing” and is an awful strategy. When I think about all the times people have said Eriksen needs to be removed from the starting lineup after a bad run of games...well the trouble is when do you put said player back in?

I still think that if we rotate some then Lamela deserves the start more than Moura.
At this point in time Dele nor Son can be fully certain of the starting place, Son has been off pace in recent games and Dele, well... he started to show some form but has still been inconsistent.

We'll see what Poch decides but it seems very likely that we'll go with 4-2-3-1 tomorrow. Only questions of personell. I think only questions are -
    1) who starts at RB (I'd assume given Tripps have to play Juve game he will be off in the weekend game, so I'd use him against Rochdale and use Aurier tomorrow)
    2) who are the 2 companying Eriksen in AM positions (Son, Dele, Lamela, Lucas being options)

    Other positions pick themselves.

It's pretty clear to me that our players do well when rested and fit. When they perform poorly it is from the lack of one or the other. Moura I think sits, and Pochettino has as much said he needs to be eased in slowly after months of inactivity. I think it will be Lamela Eriksen and Son, with Moura and Dele on the bench.
