We are staying aggressive. I like it.
How was that a foul on Lamela? This ref...
This ref. Seriously?
WHAT A THE REV RIPSHER!! JOKE. WHAT A THE REV RIPSHER!! JOKE>
sorry but the ref is totally at fault for this not the players
lol, you can't write this shit
This is all on us.

A factor, yes, but this is a game we should be winning regardless. Players didn't step up
we scored a perfectly good goal, ref is an arse
UEFA really can't be happy with a game this fricking messy and controversial.
How was that not a corner for us btw?
Ref will be doing echo league next week, he was a shambles
This is 100% on the ref. Our players played better. Our players scored the requisite goals. The referee screwed it up. And now we are effectively out of the CL.
There is no justice.
What a joke... we are fragile as hell. Looking forward to Europa...
At least next time we get Mike Dean in the league, I wont be as pissed as I usually am since I know it could be worse.
If we actually play in Europa, I will be ill. Fortunately I think we get to re-register if we get stuck in third so hopefully Poch will be smart and send the kids. At least that will make it worthwhile.
We never ever learn.
I'll shut up after this, but I just read a quote on us and its perfect. We are all style and possession and have little quality... and he's right. We haven't dominated a game all year. We hang on by the skin of our teeth every match. Hopefully the kids play in Europa and we will save the best for the FA Cup.
So what do we need from Inter and Barca? A draw??
we looked like we were going to stuff them but same old spurs. Europa league now but do we deserve any better, no we don't. we are where we belong, our performances of late have been dire to say the least. PSV were very average yet we could not beat them, that says a lot. OK it's over now and a good thrashing from City lay ahead. We qualified for champions league and that's an achievement but I ask myself why
qualify when you can't compete. Don't get me wrong, we are a good top half side and that's it. Am very disappointed with our front players, kane holds ball up well but no way is he a class finisher, very sad tonight as i have now to watch the Liverpool game (part of my bet) will they trip up, doubt it
Baloney. We were good today and deserved to win. Nobody would be saying anything any differently if we hadn't been screwed by the ref.
Doesn't matter what happens in the other game. We are done. Theoretically a Barca win is best. But it's all irrelevant unless Inter don't beat PSV at home, which seems unlikely, or we beat Barca at the Camp Nou, which seems even more unlikely.
The ref was crap but to blame him for us blowing this, is a bit embarrassing. We go 2-1 up, controlling the game, then Eriksen thinks hes god having set a goal up, gives away a simple ball and Lloris rushes out like a headless chicken.
We dont move the ball quick enough. We brought off our pace and we turned to crab passing. We shoot ourselves in the foot. Then Trippier goes flying into a tackle and its 2-2.
We then get a free kick 35 yards out and Eriksen blasts it at someones gut.
Its not unlucky when you make stupid decisions like Eriksen, Lloris and Trippier did. Thats all after Toby's error in the first half.
We deserved to give up the 2 goals we gave up. Nobody is disputing that. We also deserved all 3 goals we scored.
That’s a victory.
What a f##king disaster this has been.
I cant have blame put on the ref for this f##k up. Yes he was shite - but it wasn't the ref pissing about at the back, and handing them the first goal. And it certainly weren't the ref who gave the ball away in midfield, left their forward in a huge amount of space, and then come flying out his area to a ball he's never gonna get. No, not the ref, our f##king players. Who seem incapable of not making some horrendous f##k up in big games.
I thought this as we were leading this game - Monday evening is nothing more than trying to keep the score down. Unless Poch comes up with some magical new plan to deal with City (which he wont have), I do not trust a single player at the back (including keeper) not to cost us at least one goal.
The ref definitely played a huge part, they usually are shocking in European matches but tonight was on another level, that disallowed goal was ridiculous.
However we still threw it away in true Spursy fashion and there is no hiding from that unfortunately.
So I guess a draw in the Barca Inter match is maybe best or Barca to thrash Inter as we still have to play them away, headfu*k
At least we know what we have to do I guess
The issue now is to decide how we prioritise the rest of this season in what is to be the sole target, whilst coping with whats left of this CL campaign and where the EL fits in the clubs plans, I take it for granted we will target a top 4 finish in the league and amble through the cups with no real conviction or desire from the coach.
I hate all of you. You are such result whores. We win that 3-2 and everybody is singing a different tune.
We didn't win though did we and it was almost predictable
We didn't win because the referees robbed us of a goal. There was nothing predictable about it.
The mental mistakes by Toby, Eriksen, and Hugo were just as bad as the ref. Especially Toby's. He gifted them that goal. All he had to do was not mess around and pass the ball.
I have to ask myself how self hating are all of you that you are somehow blaming this on the team.
The referee and his assistants stole a goal from us. STOLE IT. It was the winning goal it turned out.
WE WON THAT GAME. We put 3 good goals in the back of the net and PSV scored 2. There should be 3 points next to our name, and the only reason there isn't is because of the referees.
And to call it typical Spursy fashion after we have been grinding out victories we barely deserve all year, with some calling it "Poch's greatest coaching job ever" until today, is hilarious.
