He's not on the list of unavailable players sent out by the team.

Dele is fit, he trained today. Poch said he's not sure if he can play the full 90

If he has a hamstring injury that won't go 90 minutes he probably shouldn't go at all. I'm sure Poch would rather not take the risk with him, but he may have to. The fact is that no one on our front line is in great shape. They're all nursing injuries or have a lot of minutes. I'd like to think we could pull a rabbit out of the hat some how. I see GKN is not in the squad. And Foyth is not, so no back 3.

They could play a back 3 with Sanchez, Toby, and Davies

But Rose is still unavailable so we'd have no left back. If we need to be outrageous I'd rather play Trippier as a winger with KWP behind him or Llorente and Kane together. I actually think Llorente and Kane could be good, but Llorente has been so poor that no formation is going to work for him.

Davies would be left back. Trips on the right and KWP or Sonny on the left as wingers:

    Gazza
    Sanchez-Toby-Davies
    Trips-Sissoko-Winks-Sonny/KWP
    Dele-Lamela
    Kane

I believe both Foyth and GKN were not registered for the CL which sucks now considering how small our squad is.

And Amos, who was on it, got hurt. I expect we will see Skipp, who luckily is on it and not hurt, yet.

Homegrown rules for CL. Max 25 players, minimum 8 homegrown. So in essence, max 17 non-homegrown players. Plus our development squad (<=21y/o with 2+ years at club) Next year Foyth will qualify for the under side so no need to register him next year. Since we bought him at 19 he can never be homegrown unfortunately.

We already have so many foreign seniors that there was no choice but to leave 2 players out. Foyth and GKN drew the short end of the stick. Our squad is small and due to numerous injuries it does suck that we have positions where there is literally only 1 choice unless we pull in a 17-year old.

    Gazza
    Aurier - Sanchez - Toby - Davies
    Sissoko - Winks
    Lamela - Eriksen - Son
    Kane

    Bench

Vorm, KWP, Trips, Skipp, Dele, Lucas, Llorente

Both teams need a result. Spurs with the home advantage.

BIg game for Sissoko and Winks to play an important role.

With Dele and Eriksen having missed a number of games, is now the time to put the ever reliable Dele-Kane-Eriksen trio back in action?

    Gazza
    Aurier - Sanchez - Toby - Davies
    Sissoko - Winks
    Dele - Eriksen - Lucas
    Kane

Lamela will be a good option from the bench if we are protecting a lead. His persistence and energy to win the ball in midfield and provide 'tactical fouls' to break up play will be vital. If he starts, I suspect it will be in place of Eriksen.

Lucas gets to start over Son for me. . Son's finishing is spot on but, I am not too confident in his defensive ability and Lucas's aerial ability and energy will be vital for us winning the ball in the final 3rd.

If PSV sit back and defend deep, Lllorente will be a good option to win balls in a crowded box.

Can someone tell me if there is any point to this game? Can we actually make it out of this group?

We can. We just have to win all our remaining games and then hope PSV beats Inter.

So, then, the answer to my question is probably no.

While our chances of getting out of the group are very small, this isn’t true. If we win out, we’ll advance as long as Inter loses to Barca today.

Looks like a 4-3-3 to me. Or maybe a diamond.

This (lightweight) midfield really scares me. Guess you have to play your best XI, but without muscle in the middle of the park (Wanyama, Dier, or even Sissoko), it's troubling...

Probably out standard 4-2-3-1 but using Dele/Eriksen as a CM

Some speculating that winks will be the only holding MF and Poch is going with an all out attack.

And so I need to ask, is this broadcast in the US? Or is this another reddit search.
