It is the Semi Final of the the FA Cup, Wembley Stadium Saturday 5.15pm kick off. Huge match.

Spurs supporters will be seated at the east end of Wembley, I'm in Block 121, with Chelsea plastic fans in the west end - a decision decided by a coin toss.

What formation will Spurs play? 4 or 3 at the back? With 4 at the back means either Wanyama or Dier to sit this match and if 3 at the back then may be on form Son will be benched. Will it be Walker or Trippier on the right?

It has been reported Rose is set to return to full training next week and will then have five days to convince Mauricio Pochettino to pick him for this match or Pochettino could hold off from reintroducing Rose back into his first-team until the north London derby against Arsenal at end of the month. Long absentees of Winks and Lamela.

Spurs are one of 4 teams to beat Chelsea this season, comprehensive 2-0 victory in Jan 2017 at WHL, both goals carbon copy headers scored by Dele from Eriksen crosses.

    COYS
    2-0

As they are more likely to win the league, it'll be good to get one back and win the cup, knocking them out in the process

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois could reportedly miss the FA Cup semi-final against Spurs next weekend due to an ankle injury. #THFC"

The first of 2 massive London derbies for us with a lesser one sandwiched in between.
A chance to get to the FA Cup Final & in doing so to strike a huge psychological blow to our direct opponent at the top of the league and the last ever NLD at WHL.
Poch's conundrum is whether of not to duplicate the formation he went with when we were pretty comfortable in beating the Nazi's at home or to go with 4 at the back as he did at their place, when for 45mins at least & with key players missing, we played them off the park.
Its a guessing game of course but I reckon he will stick with what we've seen since the 2nd half at Turf Moor after Winks & Wanyama had to go off.
4-2-3-1 it is for me then.
Its what we started with yesterday & I've a feeling that's more or less the team we will start with next Saturday.
My gut feeling is that the Chav's & almost all of the media will be expecting us to match em up with a 3-4-3 again but Poch is no mug & I don't see him falling into the trap of playing a system that they will have worked at nullifying.
Dier's form since returning to DM has been excellent. He's scored 2 in 4 & as good as Big Vic has been for us this season Dembele looks so much more of a threat when we attack with Eric covering him. No surprise then that he scored his 1st PL goal since Nov 2015 yesterday!
If Rose is deemed fit enough to play this week do you stick with Davies, who wont let us down, or take a punt & play him? That's the big question!
If he's fit I'd play him.
My 11 to start if all are available is.....

    ............................................................Lloris

    Walker...........................Toby........................................Jan..................................Rose

    .......................................Dier......................................Dembele

    ......................Eriksen............................Dele.................................Sonny

    ..............................................................Kane

Davies at LB if Rose doesn't make it.

    FORWARD WITH THE SPURS!!!

Davies has been solid. Even if Danny is fit, I'd put him on the bench. Can't think of a better time to play this game. We are rolling. COYS!

FA Cup semi is probably of little interest to those outside of these islands but I really want this one.

Good opportunity to shake them personally. Obviously their loss to ManUnited from today is massive.

Perfect timing to meet Chelsea. I want to see their blue arses kicked hard.

P.S. Hard tackling on Hazard and Kante is acceptable, even desireable i would say *chuckle*

If we follow Jose Mourinho winning strategy today... he just sacrifice one midfielder to tightly marking Hazard, while still stand the back 4 tightly. Can we do the same?

Of course. However man marking Hazard isn't rocket science. I'd say every team who faces Chelsea more or less try to shut out Hazard one way or another. Maybe Herrera was very good at it and / or Chelsea overall had a very bad game.

My point is that Chelsea have found ways to deal with this in the past anyway. We beat Chelsea by being disciplined all over the pitch and I think that's they way to go really.

When we play to our best ability we beat any team in the league at the moment. I say focus on that first and foremost.

Has to be 3 at the back - no question. It is something that has already worked against them before.

Bit tough on Son but he will have to be benched for Wanyama

Nothing wrong with starting Son on the bench. He can come on after the interval and have a huge impact. Janssen can come on to help see the game out. I want this cup badly! COYS!

I'm doubly glad that Chelsea lost today. Not only does it put us back in the title race, but I think it decreases the likelihood of the seminfinal turning ugly. If we'd been down 7 points coming into this game, I could see our players having a really nasty streak in them, especially after the Battle of Stamford Bridge match last year. But with the title race on, this match should be much more professional. COYS!

These are the games you live for each season. Would be nice to do a real job on them and put that farce of a game in the 2012 semi final to bed.

We have really got,to beat them Chavs, not, only do I live 4 miles from their training ground, but my son is a referee at their training acedemy, and on Sunday morning we've got to go there.......he's progressing really well, and gets so well paid for it, but to go there having won would be amazing, and yes we can do it.
We are up in 522 and pre match party around the stadium, bring it on.
I was there for both league games, at home we decimated em , as we did for 40 mins at SB, then they got an undeserved equaliser, and unfortunately at half time, Conte realised neither Rose, nor Davies was playing.......unsurprisingly that's where their winner came from, then they shut up shop

1-1 after 90 mins. Eriksen to score the winner in the 117th minute.

    Really-really-really bad idea.
We have to play Chelsea on Sat, Palace at Wed and Scum on Sun.
Don't want to play any more minutes than minimally needed as say Jan, Toby, Dier, Eriksen, Dele prolly all have to play 3x90 within those 8 days and 3 derbies.

But all of those games are of highest importance without a doubt.
Could use Winks and Lamela as cover with Rose being back, as it would give more room for rotation but whatcha gonna do.

I'd only go three at the back if Danny Rose is fit.

The fixture pile up is to our advantage.

    1) Palace will be on shorter rest than us

    2) We are probably deeper than either of those teams.

We have 4 days in between both matches so I don't think resting anybody is really necessary but rotating fullbacks may be a good idea.

    Lloris
    Dier Toby Vertonghen
    Walker Wanyama Dembele Davies
    Eriksen Alli
    Kane

    Son
    Janssen
    Trippier
    Sissoko
    Lopez
    Wimmer
    GKN

I know Son has been top drawer of late but I feel Wanyama did such a good job on Matic & Kante @ WHL that he has to start if 100% also Son coming on with 20/25 mins when the game becomes stretched could really suit us on Saturday, id love to say we'll beat them & yes we have a chance but being at Wembley I can't call it, hopefully going for a 2-1 Spurs?? ......
