I'm a little worried that the fellas will come in overconfident and expecting an easy win. I think at worse we could end up with a draw. Hopefully Poch worked them hard this week in practice. Hugo, Sissoko, and Foyth are all out. Wanyama and Lamela are back to full training. I think we will stick with that 4-3-3 that morphed into the 4-1-2-1-2 that we played against United.

    Vorm
    Trips-Sanchez-Jan-Davies
    Dembele
    Dele-Dier
    Eriksen
    Lucas-Kane

I can't see Dier playing on the side of a diamond formation. If he picks that group of players expect 4-2-3-1 with Dier and Dembele holding.

    I want to see this:

    ----------------------------------------Vorm-------------------------------------
    -----Alderweireld----------------Sanchez-------------Vertonghen------
    Aurier-------------Dele-------------Dier-----------Eriksen----------Davies
    -------------------------Moura----------------Kane----------------------------

Gazzaniga, Rose, Trippier, Winks, Dembele, N'Koudou, Llorente

I think we will go back to 3 center backs.
Vorm; Toby, Sanchez, Jan; KT/ SA, Dier, Davies/ Rose; dele, Eriksen, Lucas; Kane.

With the four up top interchanging

    Spurs 2-1 Watford

Watford is 3-0, sitting pretty on 9 points, same as us. Granted they didn't play a top-6 team yet, but they are flying high and we are walking into their home. Plus, they are pissed that they allowed this game to be reversed to do us a solid while our stadium is being built and now that we drew them in the league cup we won't reverse it again and instead want to play it at MK Don's stadium. If the boys expect to just waltz in and walk out with an easy 3 points they are mistaken. They are going to have to work to make it look easy that we walzed away with the 3 points.

Dembele went 90' against ManU, yes? I don't see him starting then. I like the sub him in for Sanchez when we need to switch to a back 4 idea.
I could see Poch starting Aurier to keep the rotation going, and I'm ok with it since its Watford. Although I'd still like to see KWP.
Lucas has to start. He's on fire the last 2 games and we need his speed. Kind of like how Son started last term.

This is going to be a tough game and I’m sure the team realizes it.

Is Wanyama still out? Would be a good game for him. Anyway, three at the back for sure against this lot. They will have a hard time finding a goal and I am sure we will nick one or two.

    Trips--Alli--Dembele--Davies
    Moura------Kane-------Eriksen

Agree with many, 3 at the back for this game with some rotation.

    ……………………………………...Vorm

    ………...Toby...…………….……Sanchez...…………………...Jan

    Tripps…………Eriksen...……........Dier.................Dele..................Davies

    ......................................Lucas...................Kane

I'd rather start with 10 men than put Aurier in but fortunately we have Trippier so he plays for me.
As good a game as he had at OT the Moose's minutes will have to be managed careful this season so as to get the best out of him so he gets a rest here.
The above team is more than good enough to get us another 3pts.
    COYS!!!

So a 3 goal win tomorrow, depending on how many Chelsea win by of course, and we go top over the international break and then our showdown with Liverpool...doesn’t sound like a big deal being top after only 4 games, but in our season v Leicester and our season v Chelsea (two supposidaly title challenges) we never actually spent a single day at the top of the league.....#phycological

Back 3 with Davies in for Rose Sanchez for Dier and Vorm for Lloris.

Like this team. Pity about Lloris. Thigh strain.

    Lamela not on bench yet

Dembele goes until he can't I guess. I don't know Watford well enough to have a judgement about how we match up. Certainly a strong lineup though. Pereyra has been electric. We'll have our hands full.

Messy but I'll take it. Sometimes it has to be this way when the opponent plays for the draw.

I’m honestly not surprised. It’s hard to take Watford as seriously as you need to when you just beat ManU handily and the media have beens saying how great you are. Felt like we were going to have a let down today.

Dembele's worst game in a Spurs shirt , maybe he is finished regarding 2 games on the bounce

Not too sure if playing with a partner is Kanes game to be honest, agree though , he has been invisible

Also, Davies is a decent full back but never a wing back in a million years

He’s been very static, not his usual energy....
That Rose sub is about 25mins too late.

    Gave us nothing today.

    Rose much better suited to a 3 5 2
