Figured I'd start the thread for tomorrow's game. We beat them away in the PL. Let's do it again in the League Cup!

From what I understand Rose is still out until Saturday, which may force us to get creative at LB. Spam have 9 players out. We have Wolves on Saturday and are playing 2 days after the Man City game. Rotation will be key.

    What I want:

    ---------------Gazza---------------
    Aurier----Foyth---Toby----KWP
    ------Winks----Wanyama-------
    Dele--------Eriksen----------Son
--Anyone not named Kane who can score. Seriously. I'll take anyone--

But we all know we don't get what we want so KWP and Foyth won't sniff the pitch.

Well f**k it all, I don’t want to risk Sanchez or Toby when Vertonghen is out for another month and a half. Put youth player or Wanyama in at central defense.

I could see a back 3 with Foyth in the middle.

If I was coach, it would be 100% rotation. Nobody who played Monday would play. Wolves is the game that matters.

Any chance this will be televised in the US, even on a live feed somewhere? Is it even televised in England?

Wow. Poch actually went with the rotation! Which means someone is either getting a first cap ever or first this year. After Lucas and Sissoko come on either a newbie or GKN will have to play. Come on kids! Bury these guys!

It is televised here, UK that is not just england ,as there is a 4th round highlights show on later.,so there should be a dodgy stream somewhere.

I'm very happy with this lineup, if for no other reason than some of our outsiders are getting playing time.

Nice that Sonny gets his first goal. Hopefully he will get some momentum going from that

Nice flick by Llorente and Son buries it like he used to last year.

One concern though, Aurier is getting torched on the left. We need to do something about that.

We always have a mistake or two waiting in our midfield, but Winks and Wanyama look pretty assured to me so far...

Dele, Dele... If you are going to draw a foul like that you need to not wait until the ball has rolled out of bounds and then pretend you got shot in the back. Even if he had shoved you at that point it was irrelevant.

dropped off a bit towards the end of the half but a good, well taken goal from Son, I still think if we play with more pace ,we can be unbelievably good.

That is why Winks should be resting today and playing Saturday...

Winks only played like 25 minutes on Sunday. He's still fresh. By that argument Dele and Eriksen shouldn't play because they got minutes as well.

Still, any time Winks goes down my heart stops.

Skipp is available...proved himself in pre season and has been doing the job for the U-18s. Winks should be nowhere near this game.

Eriksen and Dele need this game to re-gain fitness.
