Another example of Spurs not putting a game to bed. If we go on to lose this, it will be a heavy blow.

Not really. West Ham are essentially playing their top team.

Nice! Here’s a knee jerk reaction. Out attack is more dangerous without Kane on the field right now.

Its not. I see where youre coming from but its more like our attack is better when someone actually plays up front. Thats where Kane should be. Not fannying about in midfield.

That’s kind of my point. He’s been dropping so deep lately he just clogs everything up.

Foyth looked great, as he always has actually. KWP had a mare with Antonio. KWP may just not be big and athletic enough.

I don't think it's knee-jerk. It's pretty accurate - but depends how many games you wanna go back...

When Foyth last started wasn't he a bit shakey at first and grew into it? I missed the first 20 but I spotted a couple of "eek" moments - but as the game went on he became wall - an adventurous wall...

Anywho, good game all round. Alli, Eriksen getting a proper run out. Fringe players stepped up. Kids got a go. Oh, and Son is back. :)

Should be good for moral. Here's to the start of a decent win streak. :)

I was surprised to see Antonio dust him. Always thought KWP was fast but I guess he’s not THAT fast.

Son and Foyth with really great games also nice to see Eriksen and Dele involved as well. We are coming up to our most inform period through Poch's reign and with everyone fit a ready to go we should see a nice push towards New Year.

Also some might have not caught the bit of the game after the final whistle, but the song they played on the PA system afterwards was Helicopter by Bloc Party, I don't want to insinuate or suggest anything, but it seems quite a crazy coincident and considering West Hams history I just wanted to put that out there, however if that is the song they always player after their games then it is a completely innocent incident and shame on me for even thinking that way.

Foyth, Sanchez did well, Son took his goals well, and Llorentes goal was HUGE at that moment. You could literally see their heads drop when he put that in, stopping any momentum they had.

Good result, through to the next round. And guess what, could of had Burton, Bournemouth, Boro.......but no, f##king Scum at the Emirates. Well, we'll have to do it the hard way........COYS!!

Winning this game is one of the all time poisoned chalices. We've drawn Arsenal in the quarters, and of course all our supporters will start bleating on about how this is a NLD and you have to take all NLDs seriously, even though the League Cup doesn't really matter and it's just the quarter finals, so even if we win this match we probably won't win the (tin) cup. And it's coming during the busiest part of the season when we can't afford to be playing any of the important players in our squad.

Ugh! I hate the League Cup!

Sorry, i disagree. This is the quarter finals of a cup. I don't care if it's the League Cup. It's still one of the 4 major trophies on offer.

We're basically out the CL, let's face it. We aren't going to win at the Nou Camp. They bossed us at Wembley. The league? City and Liverpool are better teams so top 4 is our focus. And the FA Cup? We should go all guns blazing for that, as it's a realistic goal.

Point is, we are 3 wins from a trophy in the League Cup and a NLD will fire up the players. Why would we not go for it?!

I disagree, the league cup is not a major cup at all. It is a cup that teams from a lower division would like to win. And a development cup for any half decent teams.
