We are rusty but slowly we are getting back into it . The pitch is a snooker table at the moment , wait till it starts to break up .

Yeah, i'm not too worried yet.I would be nice to get them out today. Swann will have a lot more influence in the second innings i would think

Fooking hell, got absolutely battered :eek:15:

Worrying tbh, hope it serves as a wake up call to the batsmen in particular!

Great morning for England. Stuart Broad immense! Can't see Pakistan winning this one but a draw could be on the cards...come on boys!

Been impressed with Broad over the past few months.

A good display with bat & ball this test. A good all rounder.

Against all spin, you need to come forward and get the feet to the pitch of the ball to stop the angle of deviation. The best shots to play are the sweep or drive, not flapping like the batsman unfortunately did.. England just kept going back in the crease and had no confidence. Granted it is easier said than done against high quality spin bowling, but they are professionals and England's batting line up is way way stronger than Pakistan's..

Broad had it right in the first innings, other batsman need to take note.. KP needs to be dropped (controversial I know) to rest him so he can find some form replacing with Ravi Bopara who is one of the best players of spin in the team.. Total disastrous performance and the players need to wake up and smell the coffee...

Ravi Bopara is a good batsman but hasn't played for months .

He can't get much worse then KP at the moment. Also when KP has been dropped in the past.. He takes it as a personal insult and comes back muchhhh stronger.. Also Ravi is a better bowler than KP so can do some skiddy medium pacers to test the pakistani lineup..

Whatever happens we need to make some changes, as it has not worked for four innings to date..
