Wesley looks to be a great player? Is he your best performer this season?

Why does your manager play silvestre?

Is Werder Bremen a bigger club than Spurs?

Questions posted. Thing is, my introductory post got locked so not sure whether I would get a response:

    1. Do you think Marko Marin stay at Werder Bremen?

    2. Wesley is your best player this season?

    3. What do you think will be the score in this game?

    4. Where do you think will finish in the Werder Bremen Bundesliga?

    5. Do you think Werder Bremen will qualify from the group stage?

    6. Has your opinion of Tottenham Hotspur improved after we beat Inter Milan 3-1?

    7. How do you think Werder Bremen will handle Gareth Bale?

First response...I think I chose the wrong forum:

"Gareth Bale will be shot in the head. Twice. Marko Marin will go to jail afterwards. We do not care or notice who you play and how you play. We do not care at all if we qualify for anything. We are convinced we will win the league, and convinced we will stay even after we actually did not win the league. The score will be 1:6.

And now please tell me who "Wesley" is. "

A language barrier!? What else could "Bale will get shot in the head and Marin sent to jail afterwards" mean?! Haha.

    The best Q&A yet.

Seems like you put a lot of effort into this, so I'm actually gonna try and answer the questions.
Yeah, probably for two more years or so.
Well, he's been decent at least. And that's quite a lot considering that he just got to Europe from Brazil and had to play as a leftback, rightback or attacking midfielder most of the time, although he was signed as a defensive mid.
Unpleasant. It's really only about how many goals we'll conceed. Most of us think it's gonna be 5.
We'll probably end up in Europe. We're already 10 points behind Leverkusen (who 3rd), but after all, they're Leverkusen. Most of the other teams ahead of us are crap aswell, especially Hamburg. We'll always finish top of Hamburg.
    Oh hell no.
Most of us have always had a good opinion of Tottenham. But that win was impressive nonetheless. It's noteworthy though that we also managed to beat Inter at home in the CL, even with Mourinho still in charge. They were already through though.
He can be handled? Tell us now!
We're always getting raped in Stuttgart. The result doesn't really reflect how the match went, however. In fact, Stuttgart had like 6 shots on goal.
A few months ago I would have said "never". But at the moment I'd rather say... when we're relegated. Probably.

^^^ Thanks for responding. It helped make sure that this thread wasn't a complete failure :302: Are there any Werder Bremen forums you would recommend?

Well if you can speak German you may visit the official forum at "forum.werder.de". There's already a poll "Wieviele Gegentore kassiert Werder gegen Tottenham? ("How many goals does Werder concede against Tottemham") with most voting "5 or more". Werder is in bad shape ATM.

    P.S.
As a new board member I'm not allowed to post direct links to the fourm. Strange rule.

    forum.werder.de
    worum.org

Those are the biggest two. The first one is the official one. You need to give your postal information etc though, if you want to register. Don't know if that even works for UK users. Worum was actually started by former users of the official forums, when they changed the registration procedure.

Welcome to the forum NCOE.... great to to hear your views from Germany.

I like to ask your opinion on Edin Dzeko. He looks like the No.9 I believe Spurs need. What is his reputation like in Germany?

He's got a very good reputation and it considered to be one of the league's top strikers. (I personally think he's the second best, as Pizarro's the best of course ;)) His scoring record just speaks for itself, I think. And you've also got to take into account that he's doing that well although he plays for a shite team like Wolfsburg. Werder was actually interested in signing him three years ago (asking price was ~2M€), but we settled with Sanogo instead. Looking back that was kind of a bummer.
