    Just a small update.

I should remind you, we are NOT in for Schneiderlin. I can't stress how little of a relationship there is between the clubs after Pochettino and Mitchell jumped ship to WHL, and our pursuit of Schneiderlin and Rodriguez last summer. We're just lucky that Alderweirld didn't sign for them last year!

Which brings me onto Toby - no need to be ITK too know what's going on here. Should get him, should keep Jan happy! I personally think it would be a great present term pairing, with Dier and Wimmer as more than adequate cover.

Other Belgian I've been harping on about this summer is Mirallas, I've always been under the impression we are in for him, and our interest was with Mirallas over Konoplyanka - now he's joined Sevilla, maybe that will become more of a tabloid story? I don't know. Could be well off the mark! But wouldn't be surprised if Lennon and Mirallas swapped . . .

Lastly, Mitrovic - nothing insider on this one, but would be a great signing, no?!?

Toffes were asking crazy money for Mirallas if the rumours are true. Agree with everything else though, if we end this windows with selling some more dead wood and bringing in Mitrovic, Alderweireld and a first choice CM it's been the best transfer window we've had for a long time.

Is this ITK, rumour or just plain old forum user speculation? Either way you must be oh-so-important if you warrant your own thread.

re: Toby A... Decent player but at a rumoured £16M... It seems insane.

We'd still have to find approx double that for his Ryan Air flight so deal would still be up in the air IMO. o_O

Here's what's really happening...Southampton will buy Alderweirld, Aaron Lennon buys Everton, and because he is under contract with us we indirectly own Everton, we then sell Mirallas to ourselves for the £16 previously mentioned, then we sell Lennon to Southampton (who would then own Everton) in exchange for Rodriguez and Alderweirld.....don't know how it could be any simpler:eek:

That sounds like silly season with a Game of Thrones twist on it.

Where does our "dead-cert" acquisition of MS come into play? ...Surely you forgot his part in the equation? : P

    I've explained previously. ;)

I've not seen anyone post sone my info, I actually spend most of the time pouring cold water on a lot of inaccurate ITK, and where it's already widely reported, I either am just backing up the accuracy of it, or giving the unwanted truth. ;)

Look guys, it's up to you whether you read/believe/care what I post. Compared to everyone else ive seen, my strike rate is right up there and is released earlier than when everyone jumps on the 'sky sources understand' bandwagon.

If I'm not breaking rules, that's fine. It's not like I'm posting every day with total bollocks, is it?

    Ta.

By the way, the figure for Toby is no where near £16m. Talking closer to £10m, up to £12m.

Clearly being sarcastic, you funny little man. Bless you.

If you quote the rule I've broken, that would be super you little scamp, you.

As for posting bollocks, please show me where Schneiderlin has joined us! I've had a little peek on both websites, but no official comment. Seems strange! ;)

To be honest, I don't take any reports seriously until it's on the official site that we've signed someone.

Like all ITK information, just take it or leave it. No need to get riled up about it.

I would be more inclined to believe someone saying that we're not signing Schneiderlin, as opposed to someone insisting that we will, like that helen7 character on here.

Pardon me if I don't buy into that overplayed cliché... You're always arrogant and condescending when interacting with the other members here.

    Clearly reading isn't your strong-point...

To be fair. Your 'insider information' is about as useless as the rest of the ITK.

Not sure why people feel the need to be so aggressive about this.

Because of the attitude that so often comes with his so-called 'ITK'....

People just get sick of these things eventually... Much like when it all kicked off a couple of weeks ago with that Greaves fella.
