    here are some great small countries in the world cup

    Uruguay - champions 1930/1950, fourth place 1954/1970 (5 million people) - champion of small countries

    Netherlands - Silver medal 1974/1978, fourth place 1998 (16 million)

    Hungary - silver medal 1954 (10 million)

    Sweden - silver medal 1958, bronze medal 1950/1994, fourth place 1938 (9 million)

    Czechoslovakia - silver medal 1934/1962 (15 million)

    Austria - fourth place 1934, bronze medal 1954 (8 million)

    Bulgaria - fourth place 1994 (7 million)

    In terms of land mass, I dont think S. Korea is to big; then again, that was a dodgy tournament.

    south korea has sixty million citizens they are quite big

    since the peninsula is small they should be better in tight spaces, fighting for headers and using strength. they are not too good tho
