After the elation at watching a near perfect performance tonight, I'm a little gutted that the game that we carry this momentum into is an FA Cup clash against a League One side rather than the next game away at the Emirates, but them's the breaks.

This is the perfect time to give those players who need to get fit returning from injury/not getting regular first team places a run out I think.

    I would play:

    ------------Cudicini-------------
    Walker--Kaboul/Nelsen--Dawson---Rose
    Lennon--Livermore----Parker--Kranjcar
    --------Saha-----Defoe--------

With the likes of Van der Vaart, King, Bale, Modric and Adebayor on the bench.

I'd hope that'd be enough to deal with Stevenage, because we all know it's one hell of a big game in a fortnight's time.

Would like to see Luongo possibly on the bench and/or 15 mins if we've got the game sealed.

Lancaster will most likely be on the bench.

I'm sure Gio will be used in some capacity.

Think those who have been out injured need at least 45 mins under their belts but would preserve some of the regulars.

Whilst we're still in the FA Cup and no disrespect to our opponents, this is almost as good as a week off. I expect all the players carrying knocks to get a week off or at least not start ....

If Sandro is ready to play, I would definitely play him over Parker, actually.

I'd expect Sandro, Kaboul and VDV to be fit enough to at least play 60 minutes of this one, and Harry will want to get some minutes into their legs before the NLD. Lennon and JD will be pretty much fully fit as well so they'll probably get closer to 90 themselves.

Would like to see Sandro and Nelsen starting. Something like this should be enough,

    Cudicini
    Walker-Nelsen-Kaboul-Rose
    Lennon-Sandro-Kranjcar-GDS
    Saha-Defoe

I think Ade Luka and Scotty all deserve rests.

    Cudicini
    Walker--Nelsen--Dawson---Rose
    Azza----Sandro-----Jake----Niko
    -------Defoe-----Saha--------
for me. Maybe some youth like Spursman said, Luongo Iago and Bongani perhaps?
I'm really interested in seeing the Defoe Saha partnership, but on paper it seems like a disaster. It's such an issue going with a team and not adding Modric, i just dont see how wed get forward, hes our outlet. I'm not worried though

    For me,

    --------------------Cudicini--------------------

    Walker------Dawson-----Nelsen---------Rose

    Kranjcar----Livermore----Sandro-----Lennon

    --------------Defoe--------Saha---------------

Kranjcar right, Lennon left like we did for the last 30 v Newcastle last night.

    Prediction: 3-0 Spurs.

I bet STV will do their usual thing of showing "Animals do the funniest things" or something like that instead of the football. It's always such a ball ache when the Spurs are the televised match on ITV cos I don't get that up here :(

    Id go Cudicini
    Walker Kaboul Nelson Rose
    Kranjcar Sandro Livermore Lennon
    VDV Defoe/Saha

I think we need a strong line up as we cant take any game lightly, especially away to a team thats going to be well up for it. Furthermore, we have a great chance of winning the cup this year with both Manchester clubs already out.
I agree that Parker, Modric, Adebayor, Fridel and King could all do with a rest and its important Lennon and Defoe get some more game time. as well as Kaboul who if Harry wants to start against the scum instead of Dawson should play this one through first.Id like to rest Walker also but dont really know who we could play instead. Ive seen many people have gone for this line up but with both Saha and Defoe instead of VDV. VDV is a player we definitely want fit for the scum as he seems to love smashing it against them, but for that reason i think its important that he gets some game time beforehand too. Id prefer to start with Defoe than Saha but then i suppose VDV/Saha would be a much better partnership. If Defoe and Saha start then id expect to see VDV get al least half an hour in the second half.

Win it, then we're one game from Wembley. We must put out a side capable of doing more than just a job.

Everyone watching ITV Coverage please post on here if Graham Westley is a pundit for this game, if he is, he'll be getting loads of stick from us, f'ing t*****.
But I do expect you to win, however I don't think it'll be that easy, and I think we will score.
We have one of the best defences in the League too, so hopefully it'll prove!
Can't wait for this game, but our Tuesday night game comes first, do you play midweek? I hope so!

You should be fresher than us then, but saying that we've had loads of postponed games.
Hopefully we play 4-3-3, even if we do lose 6-0, I'd rather us go for it

Anyones guess what the line up will be, with who is or isnt fit plus who will get a rest.

Walker deserves a rest but then struggling to cover RB, personally Id like to see:

    Cudicini
    Walker Nelson Kaboul Rose
    Lennon Sandro Livermore Kranjcar
    Defoe Saha

Result that Saha isnt cup tied!

Livermore has done good at right back when he has played there, i prefer him there than central midfield to be honest.

I think he looks ok at RB but wouldnt go anywhere near as far as saying hes better there than in the middle, also would mean having to play Parker imo with livermore at RB - need some tenacity in the middle as Stevenage will scrap for their lives. Parker needs a rest plus cant afford him picking up any more yellows for a while - on 7 now

Gazza should play from the beginning, i would play VdV for half anhour maximum, no need to risk anything in this one.
I'd also like to see GDS and i guess Harry will play him(at least i hope so)

    4-0 Tottenham

I wouldn't be too surprised if we didn't see Gio though; there must be something seriously wrong if he didn't make the bench against Liverpool the other day when we were down to our bare bones.
