Sorry for taking up the transfer budget but Levy's reputation on the forums is more important.

We're employed by him but he pays us in kind words and candy.

Shill is a term of endearment in an area not far from me, everyone says it there, but never heard it anywhere else , true.

Strange that - it relates to confidence tricksters.

I wonder which side of his face they have question marks over.

    Shill.
    1. A person paid to endorse a product favourably, while pretending to be impartial.
    2. An accomplice at a confidence trick during an auction or gambling game.
    In the US:

An accomplice of a hawker, gambler, or swindler who acts as an enthusiastic customer to entice or encourage others.

I could have sworn the origin of the word was someone who the ogre/faerie/whatever promised not to kill as long as they lured others in to their deaths. Perhaps I'm thinking of a different word. It seems to originate from carnivals where they would lure people to watch the show and maybe pay.

I thought it was a "relatively" well known word in the states, perhaps it's just the company I keep over there!

Haven't heard of the ogre/faerie thing or a term of endearment in Wales.

Its not a Welsh word I know that, but I cant find anything relating to the definition of it, in the manner it is used mainly by by women to family, especially children or someone they know , in a caring way .

I think of it as a pretty common word here.

When I lived in Ann Arbor, I’m confident that 95% of people would’ve known what a shill is. But I guess that’s the smartest part of metro Detroit. ;-)

Sounds like Poch might be teaming up again with Bielsa to give Foyth some game time at Leeds.

I thought Biesla just said he wouldn't use his relationship with Pep or Poch for players? It would make sense (assuming Biesla doesn't throw a tantrum and tell them to shove it) for players from us, city and Liverpool to be sent there.

There rumours of us loaning CCV to Swansea as well, I can't see both happening.

Rumours in various places. Wouldn’t be happenings if Toby was off. Hopefully sort out his contract.

Yep. It certainly was. Both teams wanting to win and some slick stuff.

We've also loaned out one of our highly rated younger players.
19yo Samuel Shashoa has gone to Spanish 2nd division side Atletico Beleares for 1 season.

An excellent loan. He doesn’t look PL quality yet. Hopefully will get playing time at Swansea.

I know he is young, but on the few occasions I've seen him play I haven't seen anything to suggest he is going to make it at Spurs. I hope I'm wrong and that the loan does the trick.

So apparently PSG is either imminently about to bid 100M on Eriksen since his contract with Spurs is stalling (he wants to be on a par with Kane & Lloris & Levy says no) or is pure and utter rubbish. Guess it depends which trash rags you read. What is rubbish is Levy letting him go for any price when we cannot replace him until January.

Personally, if he thinks he's worth what Kane & Lloris are being paid, then I agree with him. I'd let Dele, Lloris AND Toby go before I let Eriksen leave.

If we are serious about this season, the list of players we cannot sell is long since we can't bring in any replacements:

Lloris, Davies, Rose, Toby, Jan, Sanchez, Trippier, Aurier, Dier, Wanyama, Dembele, Winks, Eriksen, Son, Dele, Moura, Kane.

This isn't a list of who our best players are. Lamela (not on the list) is better than Aurier (who is). But we have enough depth at Lamela's position that he's not mission critical, while we don't at Aurier's (unless you really think KWP is ready to backup Trippier--I don't).

Trips lol . We know the man can put a beauty into the box!

Seriously I think Dele could fill his shoes. Obviously a different type of player but he's creative and a good passer. Then Sonny would start with Lucas to round out the 3 AMs

Eriksen is irreplaceable imo. It would be easier to replace Kane, which would be impossible. So it would be worse than impossible. So much cheaper in the long run to just pay our top players what they're worth.
