stop making fun of wales, i am not even welsh but they have some nice players cmon. the have made legends, mark hughes, ian rush, giggs, and now bale is a spurs legend so do not make fun of wales

also bellamy is not hated, he is kind of a chav, i think that is what the english will call him, but he is a good player and brave

Wales have a number of issues that prevent them from becoming the world power they ought to be.

Firstly, the Welsh for "man on" is "llygrubrugllll"; tricky enough to say, impossible to shout, so they often get tackled on their blind sides in the middle of the park.

Secondly they are genetically pre-disposed to set light to any building housing an English-speaker. As a number of the Welsh players talk in English they therefore keep setting their own hotel rooms on fire, severely impairing their chances of a good night's sleep before a game; note the way they often allow teams to score in the last ten minutes. Having said that, they're not exactly white-hot at stopping teams scoring in the previous eighty minutes either but my point stands.

Lastly, and most importantly, the Welsh team have never really recovered from the blow to national pride that occurred in 1987 when it was discovered that their national dish - Welsh Rarebit - was just basically cheese on toast. Every time they play an away game the host nation thinks they're being polite when they try to serve them said dish, leaving the team ravaged by injury, be it burnt roof of mouth from molten cheese or lost fillings on over-toasted bread.

So you see the history of Welsh football is a tragic one and you really shouldn't laugh. You will, obviously, but you probably shouldn't.

As Sir Billy (who has every right to be associated with that man due to an ability to talk sense) said, the Welsh team as a whole are not anything special. Only various individual players there shine. Giggs, Bale, Davies, Bellamy, etc.

Really? theres a big difference between a cult hero and a legend.
To me a legend is Bill Nicholson, Steve Perryman, Dave Mackay, Pat Jennings, Paul Gascoigne, Glen Hoddle, Ossie, Villa, Chivers, Len Duquemin, Archibald, Waddle, Knowles, Klinsman, Ginola, Hughton, Allen, Bill Brown, Blanchflower, King and Clemence. Bale isnt in the same league, perhaps in 10 years.

simple matter of depth, have some very good players, but five or six very good players is not enough for the long campaign of qualifying for WC or Euros.

Think there might be a Welsh renaissance coming tho- seems like a shiteload of good young Welsh players out there, including GB. Maybe 2014?

ok you guys here i will just clear up some things, when i say bale is a legend i am just excited for his future at the club, i see him as a legend if he keeps playing for us so i predict he will be a legend

also when i say wales have nice players i mean they are nice players. i mean cmon giggs is a nice player, he is almost 40 years old and he is a world class winger.. nice playa right there

bellamy is pretty nice he likes to hang out with his children and probably kicked robinho out of city starting 11 so nice playa

    ramsey is young and nice

bale is genial and monkey like which is as nice as it gets, also he is great at everything

hehe did someone mention kyle lafferty, he was not bad in fifa 09 i replaced the norwich city team with northern irelands squad lolol, i am doing the same thing in fifa 10 since you cannot create a club i just make a club of players from one country and pretendd i am in the world cup
