Anyone up for a bit of voyeur footie?

Im seriously considering giving it a look, starts on 26th june .....with Englands first game against Mexico on monday 27th at 5pm

The tournement runs through until the final on sun 17th july

TBH I would watch the midgets world cup if there was one......muuuust haaaaave foooootbaaaalll.

I will mostly be playing 'spot the babe' amongst all the Helgers & asking myself how revealing it could be if it rains or after the match they exchange shirts :eek:16:

Most of the fixtures can be seen on eurosport which is free to air too (link at the bottom)

Is this why we made a Women's World Cup thread, to talk about how the women look?

She can block goals and she can grow sideburns! I'm emailing 'Arry right now to tell him to give her a try.

USA.. Probably going to win as we are the only country who value women's soccer the same as men's.

I'm totally the one in the bow tie, though, much taller, handsomer, and smarter.

The German team did a photo shoot, mostly subs/reserves though and they were quite tasty.

Did anyone watch that Germany vs Canada game earlier?

Some lass missed an absolute sitter ...... I mean it was a true howler.

They were luckily 2-0 up at the time but .....I can see her having nightmares about it in bed tonight. Ill see if I can find a vid.

The highlights are worth a watch (only 2 mins 29 seconds) but if you want to just see the miss .....FF to 1 minute 30 seconds.

yep but too be fair it was harder to score than the miss from crouch vs inter milan because he ball bounced on the ground.

However it was not as bad as the chance ronaldo missed.

Btw the one that missed a sitter for germany scored 1 goal and gave an assist!

Oh let her off then eh :302:

All the same ...it was a good game to watch tbh .............I was pretty impressed.

The stadium was absolutely jam packed.

Only 1 complaint ......... the atmosphere (more caused by the Eurosport media than anything else) was crap

I could only hear the commentators ............ the atmosphere of the crowd was very low volume.

I would like to hear the crowd more.

Apart from that Im really looking forward to the England ladies match tomorrow.

The games here are on ESPN I think. Usually the atmosphere is pretty good on ESPN. You can usually here most of the fans and everything. Last year during the World Cup, I'm pretty sure people called ESPN and told them to turn down the background noise because of all the Vuvuzelas buzzing constantly. But what can you do, right? Anyways, the Australian team has some nice ladies...

I have actually been looking forward to this event. I have been encouraging my players to watch as many games as they can. I think the ladies game is excellent for youngsters to watch because they play so much more of a short game than the men--and very seldom any diving. It's a great way to watch and explain the game at the same time.

As for the other part of this thread. one of my favorite athletes of all time, and perhaps one of the most famous US Goal celebrations (Score goal, whip her shirt off--"YES!") from formers US National Player and current yummy ESPN commentator, Brandi Chaistain.
