I get that and you're right. Everyone needs game experience. I just don't like putting valuable players in a situation where their superiors don't have their best interests at heart. They get beaten up on the field and buggered off the field too if reports are accurate. I much prefer the farm-team system that Baseball has. Not allowed in the EPL I think.

I'm not aware of that, I'll have to do a search on google.

I think there are way too many squad players at clubs that are not , what I"d call battle hardened, from playing full matches in regular competitive games over a whole season, young players especially picking up twenty minutes here and there wont build on their skills or there stamina to the level thats needed in the Prem or the Football League.

Dele is a prime example for me , of a battle hardened player who has developed his skills and stamina from regular competitive football , something which would not have happened if he had been a squad player at a top six club , players need to play simple.

...or Parker was offered a better role by Fulham, who he captained when he was there.

First team coach is a better offer, but MP prefers other nationalities alongside.

It's not about nationalities. Jesús Pérez, Miguel D'Agostino and Toni Jiménez all worked with Pochettino at Espanyol and Southampton.

D'Agostino played in defence with Poche at Newell's, and Jiménez played in goal when he was playing at Espanyol.

    It's about continuity.

Alan Dixon is Poch's right hand man outside of the football aspects for the club....he's the bald fella you see on match days and he's English....

There’s plenty of English coaches in the academy who he works with

What’s your point here? Are you trying to say that Poch can’t work with English coaches? As if it’s some sort of problem that doesn’t make him a great coach?

Probably that Parker wasn't going to be first team coach under Poch.

    I understand that.

But the notion that Poch cant or doesn’t like working with English coaches sounds like something someone says who has an ax to grind against the guy

    It’s unnecessary to say

It's his preference who he wants to work with , thats OK, but the lack of a Spurs connection is something I would prefer somewhere along the lines, and losing Parker is regrettable imo.

Why? We’ve had our best season (s)in about 50 years over the last couple of years.

Don’t need to fix something that isn’t broken
