We would have no one to replace him, unless Jan moved to LB and Jan was brought in.

Well, I think KWP would be just fine at RB but I don't really want to sell Trippier. And I wouldn't sell Eriksen for 200 mil. Levy better buck up.

Nah KWP at LB would be a disaster

Every time he played there last season he didn’t look comfortable nor did he look good on the left during our preseason games

I meant right back. He is only serviceable on the left. But if we could get a huge offer for Trippier, it might be worth it to cash in since I think KWP will ultimately be better.

That's a recipe for disaster this season. Aurier was not good enough last season to be first choice and the Newcastle game won't have changed anybody's mind on that front. KWP doesn't look good enough to be first choice or second choice at RB presently. We can't just concede the season for a nice Trippier payday.

I don't disagree for the most part. But if Levy is desperate to raise money, Trippier is a sale we could survive (assuming we use the funds to strengthen elsewhere). I do disagree agree on KWP being good enough. I think he is plenty ready from what I've seen. I would rather him than Aurier any day. And he will only get better. But all things considered, I'd rather keep the whole squad together (including Toby) and make a run at it this season.

Sissoko didn't live up to his transfer fee even if it happened with today's market inflation.

Much more accurate statement. Still... seems not strong enough to capture the true contempt.

Sissoko hasn't quite lived up to his transfer fee is along the lines of the Russian Winter wasn't quite hospitable to Napoleon's army.
