Can't wait for this game but I hope all Spurs fans give a warm welcome to the prodigal son of White Hart Lane and one of the greatest players in the Premier League in Adel Taraabt.

    Taraabt.jpg

Prediction : Tottenham 5-3 Queens Park Rangers

    VDV x2
    Adebayor x2
    Dawson

    Taraabt x3.

You've forgotten to close your sarcasm tags concerning Taraabt.

Lmao, he'll probably get booed after his comments about wishing he joined Arsenal, when he was still a Tottenham player.

Don't want to say anything about him though because no doubt he'll go and score a winner against us on Sunday :001_07:

I think we'll play the same team like last Sunday, maybe Sandro in for Parker.

    Friedel
    Walker - Kaboul - Bassong - BAE
    Lennon - Sandro / Parker - Modric - Bale
    VdV
    Adebayor

    Subs: Carlo - Corluka (?) - Rose - Livermore - Sandro / Parker - Defoe - Pavlyuchenko

I'd love to see Defoe starting at home, but we would have to play 4-4-2 with VdV on RW or 4-2-3-1 with Defoe as RW for that. Could be possible, cause we play against a weaker side at home.

    VdV - Sandro / Parker - Modric - Bale
    Defoe - Ade

    or

    Sandro - Modric
    Defoe - VdV - Bale
    Adebayor

Would love to see the 4-2-3-1 with Defoe as RW, but I don't know if it would work.

    Hope for a win!
I'll be at the lane for the second time this season (after the Man Shitty game).

I'm sure Adel will fit nicely in Parker's pockets and I think he'll find it comfy in there. He won't need to break a sweat all game because the ball won't get to him. :y15:

I'd like to see Sandro start ahead of Parker for this one, we are home to QPR and this is a good time for some rotation of the squad, Sandro needs a start and I don't think our team would suffer much from having him on instead of Parker. I would also like to see Defoe get a start, possibly ahead of VDV if needs be, I don't have anything against VDV and think he is a fantastic player, its just that I would like us to start rotation and QPR at home is a perfect opportunity to do so. I wouldn't mind seeing Bale rested even, but I'm finding it hard to see who would play on the left, except perhaps Lennon?

Bale is over-rated, His last couple of performances have been utter ****, His miss vs City took the shizzle and his performance vs Newcastle was pathetic, Giving the ball away every time he touched it and his passes going wide.

Sell Bale for £40mill and buy Adel back, we must have some buy back clause and put Adel LM and he will produce much more than Bale. (Sarcasm Tags)

First game of the season where I'm really confident on a win, QPR looked rubbish on Sunday, and nearly blew it against 9 men. Would give Parker a rest for this one, and I'd love to see Defoe start as well.

    Friedel
    Walker/Kaboul/Bassong/BAE
    Lennon/Sandro/Modric/Bale
    Defoe/Adebayor

Would underestimate QPR for this one. Last Sunday's performance vs Chelsea would be a perfect excuse for Neil Warnock to fire a rocket up his players' arses and considering this is also a London derby, they'll be well fired up for this one. I still expect us to get the win though.

I would also like to see Harry rest a couple of players for this one - we should win comfortably. I would rest Bale and Parker, starting with:

    --------------Friedel--------------
    Walker --- Kaboul --- Bassong --- BAE

    Lennon --- Sandro --- VDV --- Modric

    ---------Ade ---- Defoe -------------

Bassong is only in due to the current injury situation rather than an automatic choice.

QPR look like they'll have trouble scoring goals in the PL this season. They look fairly solid for a newly-promoted side, but if they want to stay up, they'll have to put the ball in the back of the net at some point.

My advice to Neil Warnock would be to drop Adel Taraabt. He's good enough for the Championship, but he won't get enough time on the ball in the PL for there to be enough end-product to justify his place in the team. Warnock would be better off with a conventional 4-4-2 system with two strikers and two wingers.

Taraabt did pretty good vs Chelsea, Played 2 fantastic through balls, 1 which Boswinga got sent off and the other where Luke Young missed a one on one.

Hope you don't mind me joining your forum for the next week or so. Don't hold out much more than a puncher's chance for Rs at WHL on Sunday but you never know. god, it's been an age since I've been there. Anyway re: this quote about Adel T - don't completely agree. I reckon you get more time on the ball in the Championship than in the PL. Taarabt's, petulance aside, has actually adapted his game quite well from last season and putting in more solid performances rather than flashy, picking out the quality pass rather than trying to beat 3 or 4 before doing so.

You're right though about scoring goals looking like a problem for us though and it need to be remedied as soon as possible.

Finally, yes we could've done much better against 9 man Chels** in the second half on Sunday, but when i remember that we've only been in the PL for 8 weeks, that everyone of their players costs more than our entire squad and that they need to chase the game we didn't, then I am very very satisfied with the result. god knows how we'll fare on Sunday.

    Cheers me dears.

I'm assuming you meant "wouldn't", in which case I couldn't agree more. We all thought Blackburn (i.e. literally bottom of the table) would be a breeze for us (i.e. contending top 4). And perhaps that was the problem last year with the draws and losses to relegation contenders: knowing that we are better poisons us.

    COYS mofos.

He didn't. QPR played poorly and couldn't get anywhere near dominating a 9-man Chelsea - at home. They were lucky the referee didn't give 2-3 penalties to Chelsea etc etc.
