I will be there for the return leg in zagreb!!!!

They better not lose 5-0 in turkey when i travel there!!! :y1:

Will be a hard match but I cannot see us winning this.

We are missing 2 of our starting lineup defenders. Lovren and Strinic and Corluka is always injured and hasnt played much this season and simunic was on bench for dinamo most of the time and out of form.

We r fooked in defence. We need to try to attack lol.

at least snoop dogg is on our side!

    I'm looking forward to this....

Turkey v Croatia was one of the best international matches I've seen.

    Hey there ThugBeatz,

I would not worry too much about Turkey tbh. We are performing well below our capacity this year. None of our best players are in form, and due to the match fixing scandals (it is still not even clear if there is such a thing or not) turkish football has lost a lot of intensity. The same problem exist with our players, their love to the game is somewhat gone.

Plus the important parts of the team are either injured or they just started playing following long injuries. If the Croatia can perform good offensive moves (I know you are capable of that) you're gonna beat us.

I expect a draw in Istanbul and a Croatia win in the second match.

Alpay, the Turkish defender, should have fouled Vlaovic back in 1996 :p

Lol we probably have the worst performance record of all Euro Tournaments. 3 games played, conceded 5 goals, scored none and finished with 0 points. :p

We could at least get 1 point if Vlaovic havent scored that :D

We both suck i know, all the Turks i know say their team is really weak now but so is ours! At least your players have pride and give 100 % always! But croatian sport is in a huge downfall, we were excellent in tennis, basketball, handball, football, in all team sports, now we suck big time! Because players have lost passion when they play for the NT. With another coach i could see us winning but with Bilic i expect Turkey to go through. ThUgBeAtZ i don´t care about the injuries... Turks played with their C team at the EURO 2008 but their players had charachter! I don´t understand why Bilic didn´t call up Mijatovic, the captain of Hertha, but called up Schildenfeld who plays in the 2nd German league!? And why didn´t he call up Klasnic who scored 5 goals in 8 premier League appearances and who loves to play for his country! I hate that coach, he is horrible!

I think Croatia can qualify easily. Turkey can be lucky Belgium threw away lots of points.
If they can't beat Turkey than they'll have problems beating Belgium for the next World Cup qualification.

oh I know Schildenfeld. He was transferred to Besiktas once upon a time. They were saying that he'd be the next Vidic :) The guy played a couple of matches or so and then injured his eye. I never thought he could be Robert Kovac's successor.

Well, should be a good tie if nothing else. Croatia to shade it, draw in Turkey, win in Zagreb.

hahahahah, holy shit we are ****ed :D

how can he play Olic???!!! He can oplay maximum 30 minutes, the guy was injured for such a long time! And he plays him on the left wing :facepalm:He cannot cross!!!! And Mandzukic needs crosses cuz he is best in the air!
Schildenfeld??? Corluka on the left?? Dujmovic?? My only hope are Rakitic, Mandzukic and Srna, they can make the difference.

I actually think playing olic isnt a bad idea! He was there in 2008 and is a real fighter and one of the older guys. He will fight till the end.

let olic fight for 60 minutes down the wing and then put in perisic for last 30 minutes. He will be fresh and can cause a lot of trouble.

My only concern in this lineup is schildenfeld because he is so bad at turning.

Corluka is probably only playing left back because olic way too attack minded. So if we played pranjic and olic there it would be too risky.

Corluka on the right would be good with srna but then we dont have someone for left back.

Vukojevic or dujmovic there is not much difference but I guess he went for dujomovic because of the experience.

In this game experience will be a hughe factor.

Maybe thats why schildenfeld plays because he played for besiktas already.

And vida is playing right back and is probably ordered not to do too much forward and secure the wing with srna against arda their best player.

We need to hope modric has a great game like he did 2008 against turkey. He was awesome.

Yeah but now it´s not time to do some experiments! Imo Olic is not fit, i hope he is but i doubt it. I agree that we need experienced players on the field, experience will be a huge factor. If Modric plays like 2008 we will win for sure, he was fantastic back then! But if he doesn´t give 100% again i wouldn´t play him in the next game!!! I only want players to play who are proud of playing for Croatia!!!!

But if you are right and Olic is fit.... i am sure we will win it! Olic and Mandzukic can put so much pressure on the turkish defense, they won´t come out of their own half if both are fit

    Go-go Croatia!
I'll prefer watching this one instead of boring Russia's friendly against even more boring team.

omg, now i read that Bilic will play Mandzukic on the wing..... he is menthal, he really needs some help. Only Steve McLaren played Mandzukic on the wing, Bilic is pretty much on the same level as Mclaren.
