What a strike!! And it helped get Man U out of the Cup. Couldn't be better.

That's how to strike a ball. Best goal scored at old trafford by an away team in a long time.

I'd heard that goal was a bit special, but hadn't actually seen it until that video....

I have no idea how he's managed to get the ball to move like that. He'll never strike a ball as perfectly as that again, most players never will.

If that had been during the 2010 World Cup, the ball would have been somewhere off around the corner post ;)

He's born, bred and lives 200 miles from the Theatre of (Wet) Dreams so is a natural Manure supporter and will be reminded about it on a regular basis. Barman down my local is also another Manure supporter who probably couldn't find Old Trafford on a map so I'll have to show it to him as well. :D

Well I've just shown it to the Manure fan and his verdict was, "He didn't mean to shoot. He had lined up for a pass." Some feckin' pass. Typical Manure, can't say "well done" to an opponent.

i don't think he could believe it himself to be honest! Beautiful goal!
if i'm not wrong, before that game, palace hadn't scored for 480 minutes of football, what a way to end that lack of scoring!
