So what would everyone take as a good result on Tuesday? Obviously a win or a draw would be absolutely superb, but would most agree a 1 goal defeat would still be a pretty good result for us?

I think a defeat by 3+ goals is us out of it, 2 goals is tricky but doable, but a 1 goal defeat makes it definitely winnable at WHL (especially with an away goal!)

AC have quite an injuries list...inc a player out for 6 weels who is as big for then as Bale is for us...harry's confident we can take e'm, there newish manager also under huge pressure from above to produce a result and they find diff in playing as a unified force

Any defeat where we are not that far behind.

Maybe a 1 goal defecit would be good.

Any away goal for Spurs will put them in a great position at WHL. Even if this game ends 4-1 (not saying it will), but if it did, I would still worry about going to WHL

A 3-2 win would be bad for us as WHL could be dodgy, Anything within 1 goal and having scored would be a great result for you lot imo, a 3-2 loss could be even better than a 0-0 draw

I think losing 4-1 would give us quite a job to do at WHL. I'd happily take 2-1 and I'd reluctantly take a 3-1. A draw or a win would just be fantastic.

Come off it, if we win 4-1 the tie would be over.. they'd have to win 3-0 and if we scored twice away they'd need 6..

fairly satisfied with 2-1 Milan- after all, your main priority has to be giving yourself a chance at home.

thrilled with a draw, which I think is not unattainable if the right kind of game breaks out, but not likely.

But remember guys.... We have got to go there looking for the win. We should play without fear. It will be our own downfull if we start fearing these so caleed 'bigger teams', we have got to show we are a match for any side out there!

keeping it tight is the key, we don't want to do what we did in milan last time. With their attack and our inconsistent defence, 1-1 would be a good result to take em back to the lane!

hmm a good result would be a 4-0 win I think but I will be realistic and go for a 3-0 win.

Yes please, tell us what you think will be the likely line up. I have been watching recently but I think they might possibly go with
    Abate, Bonera, Nesta, Antonini/Oddo
    Flamini, Gattuso, Van Bommel, Boateng
    Pato, Ibra
off the bench: Seedorf, Robinho, Cassano.

They have/will really upped their game with the arrivals of Cassano, Van Bommel and Pato back from the injury. 3 Of their best players in my opinion. I was not worried at all when we drew Milan, just dissapointed that we still got the hardest out of all the second finish teams. But now I am a little bit worried, especially considering our injury list and theirs has only got better. I hope they don't do too bad in Milan. I will be content even with Milan +1.5. In March we will have all of the questionables back: Modez, Bale, and VDV, and it will be at the Hart so I expect at least a +3 from us at home. I believe Inter has the better team this year, and we beat them before this incredible streak we're at right now and with the confidence of finishing first and having played at the San Siro already this year, the round of 16 won't be too difficult for us.

Cassano and Van Bommel are cup tied so they arent going to play......Boateng isnt going to play either due to injury

Oh man that makes my fookin day!!! Boateng I believe would have been the only player of theirs that could have possibly held back Bale or Modric as he plays very aggressively and is quick and has decent strength and height. And Van Bommel being the superb midfielder he is, along with massive Champions League experience would have been detrimental for us, so I am relieved as all hell as I believe Pirlo will look like a fool against us, and Seedorf won't have the stamina required to play against us either. The only worry like I have said for us will be the forwards in Ibra and Pato, mostly the former. If Ibra doesn't net in more than 1 goal, we should be good.

Pirlo is out for 6 weeks with a knee injury, Bale and Modric are both doubts we should find out tomorrow if they're 100% out because there are conflicting reports about both of them. Typically Ibra and Robinho start for them, Pato comes off the bench.

Robinho's a cat. Not worried about him at all and think that BAE is more than capable of doing the job.

I would take a draw, but if we lose its not the end of the world. Im confident that we can beat anyone at home on our day (with the exception of barca maybe) anyway a draw would be great but a loss is not bad either even with a 2goal gap. Im fairly confident were go through. COYS

Apparently Oddo isn't playing according to Allegri, but Allegri has said that Abate is fit.... so that gives us

    -------Abbiati
    Abate-Nesta-Yepes-Antonini
    ----Gattuso-Silva-Flamini
    ---------Merkel
    ----Binho---Ibra

Most likely, there's a chance Seedorf starts over Merkel

A draw would do me.. if we were to lose i wouldn't sit there and be like.. "Only lost by 1 goal.. thats a great result!"
If we were to go 4-0 down and get a comeback and only lose by 1 goal.. yeah that'd be brilliant! but if we were to go 2-0 up and lose 3-2, that would be a serious kick in the nuts and i wouldn't be too impressed, you get me?
