What would your Spurs team be if you could make 1 realistic signing.. ?
Say no Messi, Ronaldo, Kaka .. etc , etc ..
A realistic signing , i'd have to go with ..
Also if everybody was fit , otherwise half our players wouldn't be included :eek:10:

    Gomes
    Corluka - - Dawson - - Gallas - - BAE

    Huddlestone

    Lennon - - Modric - Vaart - - Bale
    Hulk

I was considering going for Fabio Coentrao of Benfica (correct me if i'm wrong) at LB , but i personally think we are in need of a prolific goal scorer rather than a left back ..
And going by recent performances i think Dawson and Gallas centerback partnership is going to work better than the tired legs of Woody and King.
Excuse me if this has been done before!

1ST answer is the best .

    Definitely a striker .

I never doubted Crouch in europe , but some people did and with a goal against Milan they seem to think he is now god

no offence but everyone would have scored the goal crouch scored .

even a 8th league player would.

But anyway first answer was the best so its surely a striker.

well mate every striker would have scored that goal from 100 times 99 times 1 time he would miss the ball i guess.

I would have loved to have suarez he will set the premier league alight.

He would fit our style of play but we missed out on him. He was my favourite striker to get other than that Im not sure who else could improve us and fits out style .

suarez deffo hes class already !
i said Hulk on the basis suarez just signed for pool , hmm and that i cant spell Llorente haha , is that right ?
i think Llorente is a more advanced version of crouch and in europe could be a pretty big threat , however crouch seems to be doing 'ok'

The only change I would make is Benzema and this is realistic as Real Madrid don't seem to want him so he will look to leave soon and if we get champions league again next year he may have a chat with Rafa amd come to us.

I'd go with Roberto Soldado from Valencia , I find him a very tricky stirker and I think he'll go well with the style of Der Vart and Modric , also he's fast , and very motivated , running 90/90 ..

well considering last night, I think we can realistically look at quite a few more players...

i say bollox to fabiano and hulk, Aguero is the only way to go. he would fit in with pav, crouch, vdv and defoe, as well as play off modders, lennon bale as well as vdv. Oh and of course, the knock downs would be his to swallow up.

i aint so sure mate, the pressure and speed lennon out that ball to him i still think he done well to place it the way he did rather than just swipe at it

I don't know why everyone is so critical of Crouchie. He always gives total effort, and he is a monster in the mix. He may not win style points, but his height gives opponents fits, and he scores big goals. Against AC, he was all over the pitch, and after running all game paced it perfect to receive Lennon's cross.

ya he plays well in europe, and once every 10 games in the prem. He looks bad vs stoke ffs. And he never shows up vs the top four. So yea, thats why we are critical of crouchie. He gives total effort but he cant do anything with that effort other than getting the odd knock down, once we thump the ball of 50 times. Hes a SUB that is all. A starter for a mid table team nothing better!

Unless he scores 10 bicycle kicks this season, i will not change my mind. Oh yea, when will we ever get his annual bicycle kick? Then the robot......jeez
