Have just read that FHM Most Beautiful Women thread and saw this line from Unit, on the subject of Kelly Brook:

When I used the word ‘nudge’ in my last visitor’s message, I meant ‘a dig in the ribs with an elbow" kinda thing. Just wanted to clarify! :y11:

Awh, that’s really annoying! Guess I was too busy watching the game (and Niko’s bum) to see who was in front of me! I even mentioned to Keith (CannockSpur) on the way home that I was wondering if anyone from the forum might have been sitting near me.

My next away game is West Brom. So, if you’re going to that one and you see me, give me a nudge!

Roughly, what do you look like? I remember seeing a guy with dark hair & brown eyes, in front of me, but I think he had our navy away shirt on (could be wrong). The T-shirt I was wearing is the same as one Niko has. I spoke about it in a thread on here and thought that if anyone recognised the shirt, they might put 2 and 2 together and realise it was me wearing it!

Hang on, I was in row 31, seat 955 (the last one in the row, nearest the aisle). So, you were either across the aisle from me ……. or right in front of me? Did you notice a generously proportioned woman in a white t-shirt with an alien on the front?

Hahahaha! I got stuck on the M5/M6 interchange & reached CannockSpur’s house later than planned. We only arrived in Stoke at about 1.30 & were heading for the Harvester when Kev Ball texted and said that he was in the bar at the Holiday Inn. It was a lot less crowded than the Harvester, but the drinks were bloody expensive!

I had to sit on my own :y9: in block 39, row 31, but linked up with everyone else at half time. Disappointed not to see Niko playing, but I enjoyed his warm-up, particularly the bit when he pointed his bum in my direction (*swoon*).

Everyone enjoyed my shortbread & brownies. Sorry I couldn’t get any to you. Where were you sitting? We’ll have to get some TH.TV badges made, so that we can recognise each other at games.

A good result, a workman-like performance and a bit of luck. Not a bad afternoon, really!

Incidentally, you made it home in good time. Did you fly? At 5.40pm, we were still trying to get out of Stoke!
