When Blondel left the Spurs he joined Club Brugge, my favourite team in Belgium since I was a little boy.
He still plays there, last seasons in a less important role due long injuries, but he’s the only player that played for both of my 2 favourite teams so…

I really like his style, always fighting for the ball, something he learned from his time in England i guess.

As for Cahill, That’s not enough IMO.

I’d say Ream just as good positionally, tackling, a better passer, a bit more athletic (which isn’t saying much). The only difference is Cahill isn’t as weak and he has experience playing against EPL quality players. All together though, he just doesn’t have the qualities IMO that would warrant a contract that he’s reportedly asking for.
