I wasn’t aware that he had tenants. It just said that Robbie Fowler owned two dozen houses in London. Still in most cases property taxes are paid by the person who owns the property and the renter. In America a portion is written off by the government for the renter "renters property tax refund". As a landlord you still have special deductions which you can take advantage of. Still you’re going to lose a portion of your renters income due to taxes.
why does it matter is more the question??!! so now i have to call someone by an approved name?? the guy i know was a season ticket holder for 25 years and his dad is a successful businessman that still owns a box at WHL, has a good share in the club and goes to all the AGM’s so he knows what he is talking about when it comes to everything THFC
I didn’t say that. I just don’t trust third-party sources, whether closely linked to the club or not. The reason being is that none of them have ever been true. Nothing personal Woody.
That’s the only way I’d see it financially viable for him. I’m not going to pretend I know everything about our tax system in the UK, but I know from my experience of renting that the tenant is responsible for paying the council tax on the property. Whether there are more taxes to pay for the landlord, I’ve no idea. That leaves his expenditure only going on the mortgage (which as I said he might have already paid off), which per month, depending on his re-payments could end up as a small fraction compared to the rent he’d be bringing in. I’m interested in getting into this myself one day, so any more info on the taxes needed would be appreciated!:001_005: Also might need to stop contributing to the de-railing on of this thread!
I don’t trust ITK’s either Dave. All I did was post what I’d heard in the transfer news section. It was spursman’s idea to put it into the ITK section. I was quite reluctant to have it put here as I don’t regard it as proper ITK but if it was good enough for spursman it is good enough for me.
I meant to take it out of the ITK thread yesterday. I’ll keep posting the ITKs I see that have to be verified by mods on different forums in order for them to get posted as genuine "ITK" (and I’m not saying Woody’s news isnt genuine). If someone like woody has something they hear feel free to start their thread in the ITK section but I will not put in the thread to avoid these arguments/debates.
robbie fowler owns over 50 houses in england so he could be fooking moving anywhere in england, but the fact hes making a packet in oz and had his teeth whitened id say hes staying over there.anyway back on subject woody who is here years and never even mention any itk stuff before hears something which major points to the tosspot moving to london and the fact were a london club, and the fact hes played for us before kinda means its worth putting on here dont you??? i hate this itk stuff probily more than everyone on here because i hear it everyday and know how easy the facts change from hour to hour nevermind day to day,so much so that i very rarily mention any of the stuff i hear for fear of being accussed of talking complete bollox{something which is fair enough with the shite i spout everyday}.so what i kinda saying is cut woody some slack and what im saying to woody is tell these cnuts nothing pmsl
I’ll put it back up, all I want is to have these "debates" about it go away and just discuss the news of the story.
If I had both the Berbatov story and the Drogba story put in front of me, I’d be more inclined to go with the Drogba story. Berbatov is now establishing himself more in the United squad and Fergie will want to save face by not selling him back to us at only half or even a third of the money he paid us for him.
Ooh, two things. 1. While I agree the questioning is a bit abrupt, bordering on rude, I’d suggest the most important fact concerning a rumour/whisper is the source, so I completely understand the interest in the veracity of the link. 2. He buys ’em to rent ’em, BCLA. Over here the tax system iwould appear to be entirely different. Assuming he owns them without mortgage (trust me – assume that) then all he has to pay on each is Council Tax and a little for owning more than one home (plus the agency fees he pays for the firms running the day-to-day mantenance etc). These costs are entirely absorbed by the rent paid by the tenants. Other than oil and hedge fund managing, nothing earns you money faster in the country than buying property and getting somone else to maintain it, even through this "difficult" time.
… 3. If his accountant was any good, all of the properties would have been written off as tax deductible from the 40% that he pays on his salary. In theory, he was paid to buy the houses lol! There could have been zero cost / expense to his income as what would have been being deducted as income tax, would have been claimed back as a company/individual’s expenditure (value added taxation for example, being one avenue of financial return for the company/individual). 4. this is a sub plot to woody’s ITK (it’s called ITK whether it is liked or not) of which, i thought was ITK, as it came from a close source away from the common ear so, sorry for continuing with it >.< 5. cheers for sharing the info with us woody , regardless!
Ive just heard from my source that Berbatov wanted a property down here so he could chain off a few packs of marlboro on the occasional weekend without being hassled by Fergie or photographers. He does like a snout or two…….. the cheeky fooker even does it in training (see bottom pic)
Berbatov has scored 20 goals this season (BBC is wrong, one was regraded an own goal), 11 of which are in 3 matches. That’s 9 goals in 28 matches. That said… err.. that is 20 goals more.
I hope that lazy, selfish, primadonna b"""""d isn’t being courted by Levy…………….just when I thought Danny Boy was showing promise!! lol
You watch the Spammers bid for him. Foolham are loosing Dempsey by all accounts. I hope he performs, he on song light up the league.
