The croats are good fun imo. You can get at them with decent banter and on the whole they are fookin clueless. We did have a bit of trouble with some very overzealous ones banging on about their patriotic bullshit and while admire it, it does become tiresome when the patriotism I grew up with has been driven out of me by this god forsaken country 10 times over. Some of them posting on here will be missed the ones that wont are already gone, so fook them! The Croatian revolution came and has now passed but make no mistake they are/were an important part of "The Project". Mr’s Modrics little boy has been wonderful and took us to another level, his pal Cranky was utterly sublime when we (dodgey deal ahoy) stole him from Pompey for a used copy of Razzle and a half eaten bag of pork scratchings. Charlie was technically on par with Sir Ledley, he is truly on another level and with another yard of pace would be a 25 million pound defender, he is that good. Thanks Croats stick around……..You will anyway because you are now Yids.
BrumSpur if you would have read on with the discussion… I have always had the feeling that deep down you love spurs more than Niko. Even if just barely.
@Dustin OK, the sentence you highlighted made what you initially said sound less rude. Nevertheless, I stand by my comment. I’d rather read the biased but passionate posts of the fan who knows their football but favours a certain player (a countryman, maybe) than the dolts who don’t know what the game is called or aren’t even sure what shape the ball is!! And P UNIT 1980 that was a lovely post you made there! :y16:
so would you prefer me call it football, footie, futbol, Fußball, nogomet, sokker, futboll, futbola, voetbal, jalkapallo, peile, calcio, futebol or pêl-droed? they all mean the EXACTLY same thing. get off your high horse and accept that people that arent from england will have a different vocabulary than those from america, spain, croatia, ireland, etc. also, i have found that people who come on here once, twice, etc a day are invested in the team. why does it matter how they chose Spurs?
People can call it what the f*ck they like, but this is Tottenham Hotspur FOOTBALL Club. And the US posters on here, who know their stuff; feel the game in their veins and have a deep love of the club don’t use the ‘S’ word! I didn’t say that it matters how anyone chooses ‘Spurs. I said that I personally have got no time for the "I’m new to the ball game and don’t know who to support, so tell me why I should follow the ‘Spurs" kind of posters. That’s how I feel. And I ain’t gonna change! So, excuse me, while my high horse and I gallop off, down the road! Giddy up, boy!
few minutes ago i watched dinamo match vs belorussian champion , and badelj and kovacic both played .. esspecially badelj plays as top midfielders .. so his price will rise up ..
