who Adel? no doubt he’s a quality player but playing the championship is one thing……playing in the PL is another. i’ll hold my judgement until he plays a full season in the PL. And he wouldnt get any games with us and our midfield right now. Im just a bit pissed off we only sold him for an initial fee of 600k rising to 1 million.
yeah man its different ..but look at him u can see his potential ill be waiting for the next season too to get a look at him
We saw the potential when he was with us, but he’s still doing the same things he did with us that he’s doing at QPR. Trying to do it all himself rather than playing simple football, sure he’s some fantastic goals but HR felt he wasnt going to play and it was Adel’s choice to leave so HR figured he’s move him on and cut the ties.
he does everything excpt the simple thing which is passing..he wants to do everything on his own this is wht i see as his problem
i watched him against norwich ,and he was still at the same bollox he was at spurs, players clear on goal and he wouldnt pass to them,he then loses the ball and just throws his arms up
kyle walker has been recalled and set to join villa!!! please dont do a similar thing with the incredible caulk!!!
To be fair, this is exactly the same as Cristiano Ronaldo when he first started with United; while he’ll still go for the individual glory a bit more often than ideal, he’s learnt to be part of a team unit and is now one of the best players in the world. Whether this was down to shrewd man-management from SAF or whether he just grew up, is up for debate, but who’s to say that Redknapp and time couldn’t have done similar things with Taarabt?
Yeah, hes done well for them and its expected that his loan will turn into a permanent deal this month.
Loan Watch 04 January 2011 Steven Caulker scored a last minute equaliser and Paul-Jose M’Poku his first ever league goal as our on-loan players took centre stage on Monday. It was a full Bank Holiday programme in the Football League with six of our young players in action. In-form defender Caulker came up against Spurs team-mate Kyle Walker as Bristol City visited table-topping QPR in the Championship. An entertaining clash saw the tables turned on City, who had gone in front in the first half, with former Spur Adel Taarabt putting the home side ahead from the penalty spot with five minutes remaining. But in the dying seconds, Caulker rose to power home Jamal Campbell-Ryce’s corner for his second goal of the season and a valuable point for Keith Millen’s side. That was the last game of a successful loan spell at Loftus Road for right-back Kyle, who now returns to the Lane having made 20 appearances for QPR after joining in September. Staying in the Championship, our other Kyle, Kyle Naughton, continued his good run in the Leicester team as Sven-Goran Eriksson’s men beat Swansea 2-1 at the Walkers Stadium. And it was a first start in six games for Jake Livermore as Ipswich entertained Nottingham Forest, but the young midfielder was replaced after 52 minutes of the Tractor Boys’ 1-0 defeat. Into League One and young winger M’Poku dropped out of the Leyton Orient starting lineup for their home game with Colchester. But the Belgian youth international came off the bench with the scores tight at 2-1 to the O’s on 71 minutes, and had an immediate impact with an excellent strike to settle the nerves on the way to a 4-2 home win. And Adam Smith completed his successful loan spell at high-flying Bournemouth with another 90 minute stint in their 3-1 home win over Brentford that takes them into third place.

Villa loan for Kyle 06 January 2011 Kyle Walker has joined Aston Villa on loan for the rest of the season. The England Under-21 international impressed during his four-month loan spell at QPR which came to an end this week, making 20 appearances and helping Neil Warnock’s side to the top of the Championship table. Kane in O’s loan 07 January 2011 Harry Kane has joined Leyton Orient on loan until the end of the season. The England Under-19 international played 22 times for our Under-18 side last season, scoring 18 goals, with his form earning him a place on the First Team bench on two occasions during the campaign and he was rewarded his first professional contract at the Club in July, 2010.
